Third Person's P.O.V.

It all happened in a blur, Xeus charged at Typhon as Hera was thrown across the ball room floor; In a fit of rage and jealousy, The CEO of Knight Empires forgot that he was in a public place, the man he was charging at was one of the well renowned and loved people across the globe and this mistake of his will definitely make it to the news.

Typhon did not hold back and lunged at Xeus, for now he wasn't defending himself, he was also defending the woman he has fallen for. He dodged the punch aimed at his jaw and kicked Xeus in the stomach, Hera was helped off of the floor by Ares, but in the moment her vision was a haze. She couldn't hear or see anything for a minute or two. 

Ares was beyond worried about his mother for she wasn't responding to his calls.

Hera regained herself within the span of a second and to her horror, all she saw was Typhon being tackled on the ground by the monster who had him by his throat as Typhon was gasping for air,  without wasting a minute, she lunged herself at Xeus and swiftly threw him off of Typhon.

Hera had taken self defense classes after her divorce and was an exceptional boxer, she knew she would need fighting skills in the future. She kicked Xeus in the stomach and threw a punch at his nose and watched him as he fell limp on the floor groaning and clutching his stomach.

"Never Ever hurt those I love, Mr. Knight. I will not hesitate to rip that pretty little head off of your shoulders and feed 'em to the wolves!" Hera raged.

Everyone in the ball room were stunned, this was time they were witnessing Regina June, a calm and composed woman losing her sanity, everyone knew that the founder of JUPITER is a compassionate and loving woman. No one uttered a word as they silently watched her helping Typhon .

"Have Happy new Year , Everyone!" Hera exclaimed as she exit the ballroom with Typhon and her son.

Hera was not angry, she was furious!

How dare he! how dare he hurt her man! that is right, her man!  And where were her bodyguards! she was enraged!

As soon as they neared their limo, she saw her bodyguards standing next to the door.

"Where were you both? is this what I have been paying you both imbeciles for?" she questioned, more like yelled.

Both the bulky men were frightened, this was the first time they've witnessed their mistress losing her calm.

"Ma'am, Young Master Mars excused us for sometime." One of them answered, their heads still lowered ashamed.

Ares looked at his mother guiltily and silently pleaded her to not be mad at him.

Hera calmly helped Tyhon into the seat and sat beside him, no one uttered a single word. The tension in the limo could be cut by a knife. Typhon knew he had to console Hera, he could not let the woman he loved go to bed angry and commence the new year with a foul mood.

Ares was aware of his mother's temper and her current anger, he knew he had to apologize to her and make it up to her.

Hera was beyond frustrated, she was fuming, and she knew she had to teach Xeus a lesson soon but for now she decided to stay silent. 

Xeus, on the other hand was helped by Hades to get up from the floor.

Hades and Pine saw this coming and they knew Xeus wouldn't be able to control himself and ruin the night not only for him but for everyone else attending the ball.

He helped his brother in the car and asked Thalia to issue a public apology at the earliest on Xeus' behalf. He knew he had to approach Hera personally and warn her because he was aware that his brother is a hard headed man and he wouldn't let her off so easily. His heart ached for that woman who stood strong and held her head high despite being put through hell, he wouldn't let her go through all of it again.

Pine, on the other hand had already rung up her P.A. and asked her to book an appointment with Regina June, she knew she had to approach her former sister in law and apologize on behalf of Xeus and also talk to her husband to put some sense into his brother's thick skull.

Xeus was groaning with pain, his woman knew how to punch...and it made him crave her more now. After tonight, he had made up his mind, that he would not give up easily and will take her back to where she belongs and teach her a lesson for disrespecting him in public.

That night, all of them went home with an uncomfortable silence and tension lingering in the air because they knew that the new year will be a huge roller coaster ride for all of them...
