Lois crouched down and took out her sword, "f**k, they are here. Go wake our battalion. Go!" Mira crouched and ran towards Merlin's tent, jumping over sleeping humans. "Merlin, wake up. An ambush is coming. "Merlin immediately bolted up and chanted something. Every soldiers woke up, groaning. "GET UP, YOU FOOLS! Enemies are coming. Prepare yourself."
Everyone started to prepare themselves. Then she heard swords, clashing against each other. She immediately knew that Lois was fighting. "f**k. I better go help her. Merlin, get ready and follow me after you're done." She ran, faster than she had ever run before. She saw Lois, fighting alone against 10 people. Lois's swordplay was outstanding, blocking every strike from the enemies. Then she noticed something. A man, creeping up on her from above. Mira shake her head and ran towards him. She immediately arrived beside him, "Hey, how are you? Are you going to kill her? If you are, I've got bad news for you buddy."
He immediately jumped and pointed his sword at her, "What bad news, girly?"
"Well, you are going to die in the next 10 seconds."
"What do you mea-"
His head slowly fall down, revealing Lois behind him. "Well, aren't you sweet? Distracting him so that I can kill him, huh?"
"Well, I was going to kill him but it seems you got out of your fight?"
"It was messy but nothing I couldn't handle." Then they heard screams and swords clashing. Then they both saw two lightnings hitting against each other. "Let's go help them?"
"Sure."
They both ran, "I've been running through this road four times."
Lois laughed, "This way, you can lose weight."
"Hey! I don't even eat anything."
"I know."
Finally, they arrived at the fight, or rather, a battle. Swords clashing, blood spraying, voices screaming. Lightnings kept striking at the same spot. She knew that it was Merlin's magic. Lois ran forward, killing everyone in her path while Mira followed her from behind. They finally reached Merlin and found that he was engaged in his own battle. "Good, you guys are here. Seems like I found someone who can resist me. Lois, go kill him for me, will you?"
"Of course."
"And Mira, go help the soldiers. I know that you haven't gotten any magic training but you have gotten fighting training, right? Go kill those humans."
"Can I just wound them?"
"God damnit. This is a war. Just kill one and you will have no problem killing more."
She nodded reluctantly. Killing somebody is considered as the biggest sin a person can do. But however, this is a war and there are friends in the town such as Aurora. She rushed towards the first enemy she saw. "What are you doing, little girl? You have a death wish?"
She smiled, "It's your death." The soldier swung his sword but she dodged below and stabbed the sword into his stomach. "Ack...Ack."
It wasn't easy, killing him. She could feel his soul leaving his body, resenting her for killing him. She shivered but another soldier was coming towards her. He seemed to be the dead guy's friend since he looked super pissed. "You are dead, girl. AHHH!" He rushed towards her. She sighed and shake her head. He thrusted his sword but it didn't reach it's destination as his head lopped off. She could still hear the lightnings.
This time, she wasn't lucky like last time. She was surrounded by 10 men. "Surrender, girl. And we may just let you live...after we do things to you." They laughed. She laughed with them. They suddenly stopped laughing and looked at her confused, "Why are you laughing?"
"Since you are so confident that you are going to win, let me give you a hint. You are not." Her sword was in his chest before he could blink. His buddies rushed at her blindly. They fought like barbarians with no training or discipline. The only reason they've been winning the war is because of their large number. She blocked the first guy's sword and punched him in the face. Then she stabbed him. The other eight signaled each other and decided to fight her at the same time. She moved with speed, blocking, parrying and retaliating. After a minute or so, all of them were death, Mira had no injuries. Arthur ran up to her, "Nice. Where did you learn to fight?"
"I don't remember. And know that when I was fighting against you, I didn't use my speed nor my strength."
"I know. That's because you need to learn. You can't just blindly fight them, with no skills. You will sooner or later meet someone with your speed or strength."
"I know. Now let's continue." Mira and Arthur were a force of nature to be reckoned with. No one could survive their onslaught. Arthur fought with skill and patience while Mira fought with speed and strength. Then something weird happened, a woman walked up to them, her sword bloody. It was weird since she hasn't seen anyone other than Lois and herself. She must be like her to be recruited. Her armor was also different. She was wearing full black when other wore red and black.
The woman looked at her, "Aww, so you are the ones killing my subordinates? I am going to have so much fun killing you two."
A voice appeared behind Mira and Arthur, "Not so fast, she's not alone. Arthur, move. You can't beat her, even with your skills."
"Aww, the famous Lois. Let's see how good you really are." They ran at each other, their swords colored red by blood.
