5 SAHRAWhy did we have more turbulence just when Abby and I were getting along? Frustrated, I let the stability belts strap me into the chair again. I didn’t know if this was a normal occurrence for space travel, but I couldn’t remember my sister complaining about it much whenever she came home from her job. Maybe she was used to it. I’d have to ask. The whole ship vibrated again and I glanced at Abby with concern. She’d fallen back into silence, but when she looked at me and our eyes met, she smiled. Looked like I managed to make her feel more at ease, even though I hadn’t been able to answer all her questions. It had to be frustrating for her but just like with animals, trust couldn’t be forced. It had to be won slowly, over multiple interactions. Luckily, I knew how to be patient. Af
