I stared at him as he sank into the elevator that headed to his office. My heart kept pumping in anticipation of the unknown.
“Bella, Your phone is ringing.’’It was Mrs Mackenzie who pulled me out of my continuous thoughts.
“Ohhh” I said in a panic mood as I got away to pick up the call. I was not surprised on checking that it was Ham.
“Hello Ham” I said as I got away creating a safer space to speak.
“How was your night,babe?” he created me my mind slowly travelling back to the events of the previous night after he had dropped me.
of course their was not a moment that I would tell him.
“Are you okay? as you seem so quiet?” he asked from the other side of the phone making me realize that I had suddenly gone silent.
“No...I mean am okay. Last evening was really great.”
