Finally

Mia's pov

Ever since he saved me when we were kids, I have been in love with him since then. It has been 10 years since that incident happened and it feels like yesterday.

10years ago...

8 year old Mia is seen playing around near the forest with 12 year old Jacob. They were running trying to see who can run the fastest, playing hide and seek, tag and many other games. They were playing with a ball when suddenly Jacob kicked the ball so hard that it went in the forest " that's not fair, you can not be kicking the ball that far" Mia complained " just go and get the ball or do you want to admit that you are a big loser baby?" Jacob asked. Mia could not let Jacob win, she had to show him that she was not a big loser baby. She turned towards the forest feeling abit scared cause they heard rumors that once you go in there, there's no coming out.

"Okay Mia, you can do this. You are stronger than you know. There is nothing to be afraid of. It's all nothing but rumors. You are going to show Jacob that you are a big girl" she kept repeating those words to herself as she went there.

She kept looking for the ball but she could not see it, in her quest to prove Jacob wrong she went deeper in the forest. She kept walking and search around the area with her eyes.

Out of nowhere she saw a huge wolf looking at her like she was some kind of food, she screamed when she saw the wolf approaching her. She took off running and the chase began, with her tiny legs she didn't get far when she felt the wolf grabbing her legs and she let out a loud scream "help!!!!!" "Jacob!!!!! Help me please!!!!" She cried her eyes out. The wolf started dragging her back into the forest, when she was on the verge of losing hope she heard her saviour's voice " Let her go now" he commanded the wolf, it seems like the wolf was trying to resist the command and that's how Jacob let go of his full aura that knocked the wolf done, imagine a twelve year old knocking down a big wolf.

He ran up to me and carried me in a bridal style while I cried from the trauma that I just experienced. It's like he mind linked some of the warriors from his pack that came to take the wolf away.

It was really great that he came on time and saved me and I looked at him from a different perspective and I would make sure that he stays with me forever.

Back to the present...

We are finally here and am going to see him after a long time I made sure that I prepared myself adequately for the duties and responsibilities that I will have once I become the Luna of this pack and when I become his mate.

This has been my dream and motivation for the past 10 years. Once I knew that I was ready I told my parents about it and as their only daughter they had to give me what I wanted and it was easy since both parents have been friends even before we were born. I knew dad would do anything for his little girl's happiness.

We have been here for the past three hours and his nowhere to be seen, I have waited to this day patiently and I will not let anything or anyone try to stop this alliance.

After waiting for a long time which felt like an eternity, I saw my prince charming. He looks more handsome and mature now that his a full grown man and no longer a 12 year old boy who I feel in love with 10 years ago. He looked a bit pissed when his dad introduced me as his Luna and mate. In a slipt second he had a straight face with no emotions. Our parents went off to discuss pack matters plus our marriage and Jacob had to show me around the pack house after all this is going to be my new home as their Luna once we get married, I can't wait for that day to finally come.

As we walked around the pack house, people bowed their heads towards us in greeting and I knew they could feel my aura that I was an alpha's daughter and I had alpha blood running in my veins. Jacob didn't talk that much, it seemed like he had forgotten all about me. "So what have you been upto?" I decided to start a conversation with him since he didn't want to man up and talk to me first. He didn't look at me when he said " pack business since soon I'll be taking over as the new alpha". " Okay.. with your Luna by your side right? Dad told me that an alpha can only take over the pack with his Luna by his side, so are you also going to do the same, I mean you need a strong Luna to strengthen this pack right?" I asked.

" Yes that's tradition, when dad hands over the pack to me, mom will be handing in over her powers as Luna to my Luna." He had a smile on his face as he said that and he looked soo cute. I wonder why he was smiling coz he hasn't smile to me, I hope there's no one in his life cause am not going to tolerate anyone coming in my way. " Do you have someone in mind as your Luna?" I needed to know before it was too late to control the situation. He suddenly posed and looked at me " why are you asking so many questions, I never imagine that you would grow up to be such a talkative young lady one day" he smiled at me as he said that. I felt like fainting when he gave me that smile of his. " You remember me?" Is all I could manage to say.

" Of course or wasn't I was supposed to remember my little scary cat" he laughed " am not a scary cat Jay and I told you to never call me that" with my arms crossed over my breasts. Instead of apologizing he started laughing and I felt like crying.

Seeing me on the vage of crying, he stopped laughing and hugged me as he apologized to me. This is what I expected from him and I was jumping up and down from within but someone had to ruin the moment as we heard something fall and Jacob stepped away from me and looked ahead. I turned around to see who dared to disturb us and I came face to face with a young lady who looked like trash to me.
