“Get up.  Move faster.” Jenny snapped at me. They had given me the smallest, lightest sword they could find in their armory, but after doing drills and exercises and mock battles with Jenny for the last hour and half, my arms felt like wet spaghetti and the sword seemed to weigh two hundred pounds.  I could barely hold it up any more and my muscles were shaking from the strain.  “Jenny… I’m tired.” “You are fighting an enemy who will never get tired,” she snapped.  She brought her sword down hard against mine, knocking me backward, “An enemy who will always be faster and stronger.”  She made a second swing and this time I tripped over  myself and fell onto my butt, my sword clattering onto the mats in the training room.  She swung her sword over her head, and for one terrifying moment, I
