Kabanata 24 Hurt Sadness and longing caressed me when I woke up the next day. I also have grains of sweat on my forehead. I dreamed of lola, carrying a baby while swaying her body. Walang tigil sa pag-iyak ang sanggol na buhat ni lola hanggang sa makita ako no'n. I was terrified as I comforted the child. My chest tightens every time I remember how I put that baby in my arms. I wiped the tears from my face as the sun touched my skin. I stayed for an hour in my room because my tears kept flowing. I get hurt every time I think of that dream. I was exhausted. Lumabas ako ng kwarto kong namumugto ang mga mata. Nagtungo ako sa kusina upang magtimpla sana ng kape.
