Lost and Found

~Calypso~ Sigrith's apartment was on the edge of downtown. We could be at the factory in minutes. I didn't wait for my friends after I woke, I raced as fast as I could to my sister. Not caring if any human saw me. My beast woke with me and I have never felt her so full power until now. I moved swiftly, the world became a blur, and I was a blur to the world. As soon as I came up to the building I could feel my sister. I could see her in my mind's eye and I knew exactly where to go. The basement window was too small for anyone to get in or out, so I had to enter into the main building. Inside was cold and hollow, every foot step echoed as I raced towards her. I come to the set of double doors that led to the basement. They were chained shut, so I kicked it in. The chains break like nothing against my strength. I race down the steps when I come to another set of double doors chained, but this time I could sense the runes placed on it. Sealing it closed. I stopped only for a moment when I decided I didn't need to use the door. I feel my beast take form and she throws herself into the brick wall. She was so fierce at this moment, so angry, so full of powerful. I broke through the brick, turning the wall into dust and ruble. It filled the dark room with a cloud of cement making it impossible to see. I search through the dust and I finally find her, still unconscious and chained. I don't have time to waste, so I kneel down and pick her up. I can feel the chains wrapped around her begin to burn my skin when I lift her. The burning spreads through my body and I feel my lycan form retreat and I become human again. Just one touch of the chains and my beast is locked away. I still have strength, as much as I can have in human form. So I race to the stairs. Her feet dragging as I ran with her in my arms. When out of the dust and the dark I see two faces appear. "Oh sister, you shouldn't have come here" my brother speaks in a hideously playful voice. When I see my mate, Ambrose, fall to his knees. Screaming in pain as his neck fractures underneath my brother's grip. "No" I scream and fall to my knees. My sister dropped with me. "Please stop" I beg. "It's too late" is all Magnus says. When he puts his foot on Ambrose's shoulder and pushes him to the ground. He takes a knife from his side and plunges it into his back. I feel his heart when it stops. I feel our bond broken in that very moment. "No" I scream so high it's in a screech. Only seconds to late Octavia, James, and Sigrith break in. James grabs me as I try to claw my way to Ambrose. James throws me over his shoulder as I try to fight his grip. I see Octavia over my sister. She reaches for her restraints and breaks them. The chains fell away and she lifted Rory in her arms. All while Sigrith was taking my brother head on. Sigrith was skilled, and Magnus was no match for her. She countered his every attack. Making him look like a fool as they fought. Distracting him just enough that we could be rescued. Sigrith ended it with one finale blow. His body cracked the cement as she slammed him into the ground, knocking him out. That was the last I saw before James ran me out of the room and back up the stairs. Where Gretchen was yelling "hurry, hurry, hurry" Octavia, holding my sister, running up just behind us. Followed by Sigrith. My mate's body left behind.
