Settled in my Brain
~James~ When I woke, my nose was snuggled into a familiar scent. A blanket was wrapped around my body, I lay in a soft bed, and my head is on Caly's pillow. I lift my head up to see my own blood stained across the white pillowcase. I look around the room, but do not see Caly. We are back in her room at the Siren's den in New York City. I get up, and something feels different. It's hard to explain, but it's like a worm in my ear trying to dig deep into my brain. I reach up to where my head is now healed, but I feel the soreness of where it was broken open. I walk down the stairs. Searching each level for Caly, but all I see is women. All of them look at me as I make my way around. I can feel their stare trying to draw me in to their beauty, but I want nothing but to find my love. When
