Under the Surface
~Calypso~ I portal back through into my bedroom, but it is empty. I can hear my mom screaming outside. The sound of roaring and crashing nearly drowned out her screams. When I hear my Dad yell at my mom "Scarlett get in the car!" I jump out my second story window into the yard where I see Rory pushing my mom into the car, and motioning to my dad to get into the driver's seat. Which he does. Then a ball of tangled bodies roll out from behind the car. It was James and Ambrose fighting each other with murderous intent. They must have both come here looking for me. My dad SLAMS on the gas backing up and hitting their brawl. Knocking Ambrose off of James, shooting him back a few feet, and running over James.
