As we walked to the leaving room, my mind was just on Zack. He was worried about me and his brother. He was worried about his daughter. At least, that was what I told myself. Or was I just trying to ignore the fact he was a self-centered person. But judging by the way he behaved with Paul, I had hoped he was changing. Maybe he was good and seeing his brother treating him in that way made that goodness in him sparkle. I realized I was smiling. Then I heard someone call my name. Both me and Paul turned and Zack was running after us. “Can I talk to you for a minute?” He asked, catching his breath. But he didn’t entirely look at me.
