Mate

Axel's POV

As I was talking to Exavior I heard a door open.

"Everything okay Axel?"

It was Ember but before I could answer Exavior said it.

"Mate"

Ember responded in a low shy voice.

"Mate"

"Ooookay then we'll I'm out goodnight"

I walked to the hall just out of sight and stood there. I guess today's her birthday I wonder why she didn't say anything. I could here them talking about why he wasn't able to tell when they where hanging out by the lake and she explained today was her 16th birthday. She invited him to come in and they would go to her room and get to know each other better. I'm just glad the s****l part of the mate bond didn't hit till 17 or 18 depending on how fast and strong the bond got some got the s****l part as soon as they met I just hope there's didn't. She's been threw alot and would need time. After a couple minutes of the door shutting I snuck past and into her sister's room. Gently I shook Jessy she groaned.

"Leave me alone Ember I'm dreaming about a shirtless Ax-"

She turned opening her eyes I raised my eyebrow. Was she about to say she was dreaming about me? Her eyes grew huge.

"OH, A-Axel uh, What's up?"

"Uh, I was wondering if you wanted to help me set up a small party for your sisters birthday."

"Of course I would! But how did you find out she didn't want anyone to know?"

"Her mate showed up and is in her room with her right now"

"I'm so happy for her! What time is it?"

She looked at the clock and let out a deep growl and turned to me with a pissed look.

"You woke me up at 1:30 a.m.!"

"Hey I've been up for a hour thanks to your sisters mate waking me so imagine how I feel."

She instantly changed her attitude and gave me a soft smile.

"Go change and we'll meet out front"

I went to my room grabbed some clothes went out side and shifted picking up my clothes with my mouth. She walked out carefully shutting the door. She turned and looked at me and looked around not wanting no one to know she shifted already. I gave her a reassuring nod. She walked around the house and came back round ready to go we played around in-between stores. I could tell she missed running free. It was 5:30 when we got back we had the kitchen and living room decorated in a hour. The family usually woke up at 7:30 so we decided to go out to the forest for the next hour. When out of no where I started to feel likewe where being watch so I froze and started looking around trying to find why. Jess came up next to me rubbing against my side when we heard a growl. Just as fast as the feeling came it went away. We decided to head back we shifted got dressed and into the house we went as soon as we shut the door everyone started coming out of their rooms. We filled them in so when Ember came out with Exavior we all yelled.

"SURPRISE"

Embers POV

We stayed up all night talking it was about four when we decided to go to sleep. When he was talking nothing else mattered. It was only eight when I woke up I just wanted to go back to bed I tried to sit up he wrapped his arms around me pulling me back in.

"To eeaaarlyyyyy"

I chuckled softly.

" We need to get up this house is up and active by 7:30 it's barely eight so we ain't to late but we are late. He curled around me groaning. I couldn't help but giggle he kissed my neck.

"Fine we can get up but you miss lady owe me a whole night of sleep."

"You got a deal mi corazon."

We got up and dressed man my mate is hot. when we walked out of the room everyone yelled at us.

"SURPRISE"

I didn't know what to do or say so I just stood there looking like an i***t. When Jess came up giving me big hug.

"Come on sis let's eat!"

We went and sat down I was surprised at the food on the table. It was all my favorite breakfasts sugar and cinnamon donuts, biscuits and gravy, bacon sausage egg burritos, and chocolate milk. Tears started to escape my eyes everyone looked at racist so confused.

"I don't know how to thank you guys I haven't had anything like this in years."

They pulled me into a big group hug it felt so... comforting. My mate pulled me away feeling a little jealous of the fact everyone else was hugging me. I gave him a peck on the cheek and we sat to eat. We talked mostly about me they asked about my favorite memories. It was actually really fun it felt like I had a family again. We spent all day just hanging out we played card games bored games, we went running and playing together it was so much fun. We got home pretty late so we just ordered a pizza and huddled in the living room watching all my favorite movies. The entire fur and the furious series, and Run away werewolf series and then we went to our rooms Exavior stayed again he was holding to sleeping with me for a while night even tho it was already one in the morning. We cuddled up in my bed when we heard a knock on the door.

"Whyyyyyyyy"

He groaned as he got up to go answer it. I walked behind him to see a shirtless Axel.

"What's up Axel"

"Exavior, did you sneak out to find her block your sent after you got here spend all day with us and not tell your f*cking parents."

"Oh sh*t"

"Yea oh s**t boy do you know how worried we've been!"
