The clean up

Dranco's POV

Liana had linked me begging me to get the house. She was finally ready for me to get rid of my brother. I know how that sounds but it not that I want to I loved my brother but he became a stranger. I was ready to do whatever needed to be done for the sake of those kids. I ran all the way to there house all the way across town the hole town was the pack town no humans just us. When I got there I shifted back got dressed and ran into the house I was shocked my brother was laying dead with Axel standing over him. Axel hasn't had to kill before so I knew he was in shock. Looking around the living room was covered in blood I put my hand on Axels shoulder his head snapped up looking at me. His eyes where filled with anger, pain, and sadness.

"Where is your mother and sister?"

"In Andreas room."

"Why don't you go check on th-"

"No I need to clean this mess up I can't risk Andrea seeing this."

We did just that I took my brother's body out then helped him clean up the blood he went to the kitchen to get some water he stared out the window with rage radiating of of him. When out of the corner of my eye I seen a fire I ran out side to get a hose to put it out. By the time I got the hose the fire had died out and my brother was nothing more then a pile of ash. Axel came out the house running towards the woods.

" Where are you going?!"

"A run I can't face the girls right now!"

With that he disappears into the woods.

Axel's POV

Running was the only way I new to try and calm down. Jake pushed forward the mix of orange and red in his fur reminded me of fire flashes of all the abuse the past eight years where flashing threw my mind. As I dodged and jumped threw the forest attacking the air with every passing memory. After a couple hours Alik came forward his fur was light grey with silver kinda makes me think of a cloud. Then Alezander pushed threw was as light and dark brown like just like dirt I bet if we laid in the right spot we'd blend right in. Jace's was like a green blue which was crazy you could tell it was blue but it was kinda pale kinda makes me think of the river on the out skirts of our territory. Now Celest's fur has always tripped me out he was grey with very defined blue and green ends swirling down his body. We had finally stopped running laying by the little stream that runs threw the forest. Alezander pushed forward again just incase someone came by he was the wolf they all knew. As I laid there I closed my eyes listening to the water run it was so peaceful. I was about to fall asleep when I heard a twig snap I jumped up flipping around when a sandy colored wolf came into view along side a white as snow wolf with a yellow circle on its head that gave it a halo look which matched really well sense the wolfs name was Angel the other was Aiden. They belonged to my best friends Alaya, and Kain.

They approached slowly looking at me carefully Alezander relaxed his stance Angel came up and rubbed her body under his head as he bent his head to hug her as she did. While Aiden rolled his eye and just sat next to me Angel fallowed along licking him on the cheek. They are mates and even tho Kain was very possessive of angel he never came at me over stuff like this he understood the friendship. We laid down Angel squeezing between me and Aiden she always liked to be the center that is our fault tho she has been the center sense we all became friends. She knows soon enough she will have to share that spot with Andrea and my mate when I find her but she was ok with it as long as they didn't try to kick her out of it. After a hour they got up Aiden had Angel go behind a tree they shifted and changed Kain throwing a change of close at me as Alaya came from behind the tree. I started shifting getting a growl from him Alaya just turned around.

"Come on Axel one rough day to many and you loose your decency" Alaya said with a slight chuckle in her tone

"My bad I forgot that's the one thing I can't do around you with Kain here"

I said with a mischievous grin and winked.

"Ok you two enough before I have to kick Axel's a**"

"Oh come on baby boy don't be jealous I'll give you a kiss to make it up to you"

I grabbed him with puckered lips he just pushed me back. Alaya and I roared with laughter while he just gave us that I hate you guys look Alaya pulled him into a kiss.

"No more crankiness or you'll be introuble!"

"Is that so?"

He said with a raised eyebrow grabbing her by her throat pulling her even closer. I snuck up behind her whispering in her ear.

"And what would you do that we can't do better?"

"Ok guys I give!"

It was Kains turn to roar with me in laughter. Alaya interrupted this time.

"ANYWAY, Axel"

I sighed running my fingers threw my thick black hair.

"My mom called y'all didn't she"

"Actually we came by to talk to you that's when she told us"

Kain said matter of factly he let Alaya handle the rest of the talking he was sentimental and didn't wanna be caught crying if it got that deep.

"She's worried about you Axe."

"I know I shouldn't have ran off like that but I couldn't face her I just killed her mate"

"To protect her and your sister, I promise she holds no ill will towards you for it"

"How can you be sure? Her wolf may not be present but even humans can go insane after the mate is killed"

"Why would she want us to get you home if she held ill will about it?"

"I guess you're right"

Kain dropped his hand on my shoulder

"We can walk back in human form if you want"

"That sounds nice"

As we started walking I was trying to figure out how to face mom or Andrea for that matter. Kain broke my train of thought.

"Also Draco said to tell you if you wanna take your rightful place as alpha he'll give you a week before training starts"

"I'll stick to being head warrior and make every other pack wonder why someone who beats their alpha during training does take his title"

"You are one goofy a**hole"

We all started laughing. We where around half way back when the sun started rising.
