  Damien and Peter moved through the brush as quietly as they could. Not that they really feared detection since the Council had virtually no werewolves left, and no self-respecting vampire would be running security patrols. If they had even bothered to return to the Mansion after the attack at Blood Moon, they were likely in the basement of the mansion, where the good alcohol was stored, according to Vlad.   The wolves were still hesitant to trust him with anything, but Vlad had said he wanted to see the Council fall. Not for himself…for Serenity. If she were able, “She’d be on the front lines of this attack as well.” He muttered with a sad grin.   Damien didn’t say a word to him the entire time he walked them through the best plans of attack. Indeed, Damien didn’t speak to anyone much.
