A new student, Leif, was admitted the day Tristan left. All the female students were enchanted by his physical attributes. Ember orchestrated a scheme to seduce him when she planted her eyes on him.
Lunette was still depressed about her demotion to repeat a class and Tristan’s departure made her feel inferior to the bullies. She got lost in her thoughts as she walked down the hallways and stumbled upon Leif.
“I'm so sorry,” She apologized as she bowed her head and lowered her gaze to leave.
“Hey, beautiful! Are you alright?” Leif questioned with a husky voice that awakened Lunette's ears.
The voice sent a sensation to Lunette's body as she peeked into his eyes and glanced through his body. He has a confident height, captivating eyes, broad shoulders, a tiny waist, and a handsome face. She fell in love with him at first sight.
“Yes, I'm fine,” She spoke In her tiny voice as she blushed.
That day marked the beginning of their bond. She thought she had found her mate not knowing he was a devil in disguise. Leif expressed his emotions towards Lunette and they commenced their couple goals. Ember got jealous but her plans to seduce Leif were eminent in her mind.
At the dinner and awards night, they won the best couple awards of their faculty. That night, Leif asked Lunette if he could mark her but she claimed he had to meet with her father first.
Leif decided to give her a liquid substance which he claimed was to make their love stronger. Her strength diminished day by day as she took it. She became weak and dizzy every day. One day, he lured her to his bedroom and drugged her with Rohypnol which made her fall asleep and lose her memory of the incident, then he proceeded to make love to her unconsciously. To cover his crime properly, he was able to carry her secretly to her room in the Castle that night, with the help of Fergus.
The next day, Lunette woke up with a severe headache. Her headache got worse when she tried to remember what happened the day before. She took some painkillers and skipped school for that day.

On getting to the campus gate the next day, she alighted from the car and caught Leif kissing Ember intensely. She confronted him on the spot but he retorted, “Hey slut! I reject you as my mate. Leave, or I'll call the shadows.”
“I love you, baby!” He said to Ember aloud and watched Lunette leave rashly with hot tears flooding her face.
Lunette started observing changes in her body. Her breasts got fuller, fatigue wriggled within her bones, and a sense of nausea washed over her.
Unfortunately, Fergus caught her vomiting and noticed some changes in her body. She hurried to inform Lucian in his chambers.
“It seems your daughter has associated with unsavory peers!” She spoke rudely.
“Why do you say so?” Lucian questioned as he stared at the pages before him.
“She’s pregnant!” Fergus exclaimed with a joyous heart.
Lucian’s focus shifted from the documents he was reading to peek into Fergus's eyes as if a shock emitted from his body. He saw the seriousness on her face but refused to believe her.
“She's outside, vomiting. I'm sure you'd love to see for yourself,” Fergus uttered.
Lucian rushed out like an uncouth dog. He saw his daughter vomiting uncontrollably. He called the midwives of the pack to examine Lunette before taking her to the hospital. After a test was carried out, Lunette was confirmed pregnant.
Lucian got infuriated when he heard the news.
“What a disgrace!” Lucian yelled at Lunette in the presence of the midwives.
“Father! I swear by the moon goddess, I can't comprehend how I got pregnant. I don't even understand what is going on,” Lunette wept bitterly, her emotions revealing her sadness as her face was moistened with salty tears and mucus.
In anger, he disowned and sent Lunette away even though she claimed she didn't understand how she got pregnant. He commanded that she leave without taking a penny as he turned blind eyes to her tears.
Lunette embraced rejection for the third time. She headed towards the Silvermoon pack to find Tristan. She doesn't have money to take a bus so she took the forest path which will take three days for her to arrive at the Silvermoon pack.

Lucian was disorganized. He paced back and forth in his bedroom. He loved his daughter so much but detested the shame she brought upon his name.
“Darling! I prepared you a tea to calm you down,” Fergus said as she dropped the teacup on the table. She walked up to him and touched his shoulders but he flung her hands away.
“I thought I told you not to prepare anything in this castle!” Lucian yelled.
“Shhh…” Fergus placed her hands on his lips and uttered In a low tone “I'm pregnant!” She knew the pregnancy was a result of her consistent s****l activities with Bran.
Lucian sat on the bed but his countenance wasn't what she expected. “Are you not happy?” She inquired.
“I am but my daughter is out there and…” Fergus didn't allow him to express himself before she interrupted. “Listen to me, you must forget her! Her mission to bring us child luck is over here,” She spoke with hatred as she took the teacup and gave him to drink. A sinister smile curled on her face while he drank the tea.

Lucian headed to the throne room when his guards informed him about Remus' arrival.
“I heard you've sent your daughter away! Ahh!! You've welcomed calamity to the Pack and it's on its way,” Remus, the blind seer, uttered as he gestured with his hands.
“I…I…I did it out of annoyance. She wants to stain my name. Can you imagine?” Lucian stuttered with guilt as he tried to defend himself.
“Ah! All I see is doom. She must return to the castle, or else, evil will befall this pack!” Remus uttered bitterly.
Hastily, Lucian called Fenrir to search for Lunette and bring her to the castle.
On hearing this, Fergus sneaked out to meet Bran to orchestrate their evil agenda. Before Remus's arrival, she had sent a spy to tail Lunette as she left so they would get rid of her completely.

As Tristan wore his armor in preparation for battle against the Ironrangers pack, his wolf whispered to him, “Lunette is in danger!” Tristan’s heart was torn into pieces. He felt helpless.
The Ironrangers planned to attack their Pack tonight and once he leaves, he had failed his people as the newly chosen Alpha. He was the strongest among the members of the pack and with his Lycan powers, he had never lost in any battle.
Tears wiggled down his face. He couldn't remember the last time he cried but he was crushed by the thought of seeing Lunette hurt. He braced himself and made a decision that would haunt him for the rest of his life if anything happened to Lunette.

As the sun declined slowly, Lunette got afraid and hoped she survived the night. She heard footsteps behind her but when she turned, she saw nothing. Suddenly, a huge arm grabbed her neck. The arm pressed against her neck trying to choke her. She stroked it repeatedly but her efforts were futile. After many attempts, her strength expired, making her unconscious.
