Rowan’s POV The sun was too damn bright for blood. Middle of the day, yet it felt wrong...like the light shouldn’t exist for what was about to happen. My pack and I had been waiting behind the crumbling walls of the old mill. The plan was simple: Ayla lures Kai in, we spring the trap, and I end this once and for all. But things didn’t go that way.
