21Stephen Morrison and Helen Leavitt were married in March 1905. The wedding was orchestrated by Oscar and Sadie Leavitt. It was held in Temple Beth Israel in Washington, D.C., with a reception following at the Willard Hotel downtown. Oscar Leavitt beamed as he gave his daughter away to the dashing young naval officer.
