  “She made me feel like I wasn't even there.” Ethan gave her a soft look, feeling remorseful. “I told her that was completely unacceptable as soon as everyone left.” Despite everything, a smile tugs at the corner of her mouth at his soft words. She meets Ethan’s gaze, and feel herself start to thaw a bit. His hands slip away from her shoulders, causing her to shiver as they go. “Okay, I forgive you. Because you make it hard to stay mad at you.”   He smiled brightly, almost too much. “Good.” Isabella scoffed. “Its not the same as an apology from her, though.
