Chapter 3

Shawna POV

About 5 weeks later, Sandy, Emmett, Liam and I go to school at around 7:30.

When we arrived at school we got our schedules and headed to our first period class.

When it was lunchtime we got our lunches and sat at a table.

As Sandy, Emmett and Liam all ate I just sat staring at something in my hand.

Liam looked at me concerned, putting his hand on my leg under the table and asking, whispering, “What’s wrong?”

I take the hand that’s on my leg with one of my hands and put the object that’s in my other hand into his hand.

He looks at the object still confused then when he sees it’s a positive pregnancy test his eyes go wide.

We give each other a concerned look.

We turn toward Sandy and Emmett as I ask, “Sandy could you guys take care of our trays? Please.”

Sandy and Emmett exchanged confused glances then they turned back toward us nodding their heads.

Liam and I go out of the glass door at the end of the cafeteria.

We go into the woods behind the school.

Liam stops walking about a few miles and then he stops me in my tracks by turning me around by the arm then he gives me a worried look and asks quietly, “What are we going to do about your dad?”

I looked at him and answered, “I don’t know, but I guess we will have to deal with it when the time comes to tell him.”

He puts his hands on my sides and then we start kissing.

Then he stops kissing me and asks, “And when will the time be to tell him?”

I looked at him and said, “I don’t know but it will have to be soon cuz with me being a vampire we don’t know how fast this baby will grow.”

Liam half smiled and said jokingly, “Why don’t we go tell him now.”

I looked up at him with a serious face that said r u fucken serious? Then I said, “You do realize he’d fucken freak.”

Liam looked down at me and said, “I was joking.” chuckling at my reaction.

I just looked up at him, and said, “Still when we do tell him he’s going to freak.” Matter of factly.

Liam looked at me and said, “Well he can’t do anything about it anyway considering one he’s human you're not and two you’ve already got a bun in the oven.”

I just roll my eyes, turning around and walking away.

He followed me saying, “What?”

I turned around abruptly, stopping him in his tracks and glared up at him.

He looks down at me and half smiles.

I just roll my eyes, turning around and walking away.

Liam and I head back to the school after the school day ends. Sandy, Emmett, Liam driving and I front head home.

When we get to the house Liam and I go to the garage.

Sandy and Emmett go into the house.

We sit down on the sofa in the corner. I cuddle up against Liam’s chest.

After a while of just sitting silent Liam breaks the silence with a sigh.

I look up at him asking, “What?”

He looks down at me and says,”We need to tell your dad.”

I just roll my eyes.

I sat up and looked up at Liam and said, “Fine, let's go.”

He looks at me and askes, “I have to talk to him too?”

I look at him with a serious look, saying, “Umm. Yes.”

He rolls his eyes standing up helping me up.

We walk out of the garage and into the house. Charlie is in the living room sitting on the sofa watching tv. We exchange glances as we walk into the living room. Liam sits in the recliner in the corner and I sit on his lap as he puts his hand on my back. I cleared my throat saying, “Dad can we talk?”

Charlie grabs the remote and pauses the show he is watching. Then looks at Liam and I and says, “Sure.”

I look at Charlie saying, “So… Liam and I weren’t planning this or anything. And it wasn’t Liam’s fault. Anyway, Dad… I’m … pregnant,”

Charlie’s face changed from serious to pissed.

He takes a deep slow breath saying slowly, “Liam can I talk to my daughter alone?”

Liam goes to get up but I don’t move. I say, “No you may not whatever you have to say you can say in front of Liam.”

Charlie said, “Fine… I thought I told you to use protection.”

I said, “We had s*x unprotected twice. And it wasn’t on purpose either that the protection broke on us.”

After a little while of Charlie’s frustrated yelling and then Liam and I arguing with him Charlie gave up by signing.

I ask tiredly, “Can I go to bed, I’m tired.”

Charlie said, “Yea.”

Liam and I go up stairs. We walk into my bedroom and find Sandy and Emmett sleeping on Sandy’s bed.

Liam pulls his shirt off and climbs into my bed. I grab a sports bra and shorts and look at Liam smiling and walk into the bathroom and get changed. I come back out and climb into bed curling up against Liam’s bare chest.

Liam said mentially, I love you.

I smile and say the same way, I love you too.

Liam leans down and kisses me.

The next morning I woke up around 4:30 am having to run to the bathroom.

Liam wakes up asking mentally, are you ok?

After I vomit again I say the same way, I’m fine.

Liam gets out of bed and goes up to the bathroom door and knocks on the door.

Knock, Knock, Knock.

I say, “Go awa…” not being able to finish as I threw up again.

Liam walks in anyway shutting the door behind him as I flush the toilet as I lean up against the tub wiping my mouth with some toilet paper.

He sits down next to me as I say, “You don’t listen do you?” rolling my eyes.

He just smiles wrapping his arms around me and kisses the top of my head.

About a half hour later we go back to bed.

* * * * *

Around 6:30 Sandy and Emmett wake up. They wake Liam and I up.

We all go down stairs after getting dressed.

Half way through breakfast I have to run to the bathroom and vomit.

Liam follows me.

After I get done vomiting again I shut the door in his face and said, “Go away.”

He just rolls his eyes and walks in anyway.

I roll my eyes flushing the toilet after wiping my mouth with some toilet paper and leaning against the tub.

Liam sighs sitting down next to me and says, “I think you should stay home.”

I rolled my eyes and said, “I’m fine.”

He said, “You realize I wasn’t asking.”

I look at him asking, “And how are you going to make me stay home?”

He rolled his eyes, and said, “I could talk to your dad.”

I glare at him.

Rolling my eyes I stand up walking out of the bathroom.

When I came back into the kitchen and sit back down at the kitchen table, Charlie said, “I think…”

I glare at him, not having to say anything because my face says it all, don't you dare say it. As Liam comes back and sits in the chair next to me.

Sandy looks at me and asks, “Are you ok?”

I look at her and say, “I’m fine.”

Emmett asks Liam mentally, What is going on?

Liam and I look up at him.

Emmett says No… You, didn’t.

When he sees our faces, he knows.

Liam, you know what will happen, right?

Liam answers his cousin. Yes, I do.

I look at Liam and ask, What’s he talking about?

I’ll explain later.

Liam, Emmett, Sandy and I head to school around 7:30.

* * * **

At lunch time we grab our lunches and sit at the table where we sat yesterday.

After a while of eating silently I ask Liam mentially, So what did Emmett mean this morning? Looking up at him.

All he did was roll his eyes, not saying anything while still eating.

I ask the same way, Well?

Emmett looks up from his tray. But before he can say anything I say the same way, I’m not talking to you so stay out of it. Looking over at him and glaring at him he just rolls his eyes and looks back at his tray and keeps eating.

Sandy looks up at us looking at me confused then realizing what we were doing she rolls her eyes and goes back to paying attention to her tray and eating.

I look back at Liam and say, this time out loud, “Well?”

Liam looks at me and asks, “You really want to know?”

Before I say anything, Emmett says mentally, I don’t want Sandy to know so be quiet. Not looking up.

Liam and I both roll our eyes and then I say mentally, yes.

Fine, Since you're pregnant you may not be just a vampire…

I ask him confused, What do you mean?

He said, I didn’t want to have to tell you… because I didn't know I could make you one too... but you might not be just a vampire, you might be a werewolf too. Normally made vampires can't get pregnant. Babe.

I say confused, That's impossible, you can’t be both a vampire and a werewolf.

He said matter of factly, You can actually. Even though there are not very many.

I asked, still confused, How is that possible?

He answered, Because I’m both. And since your having my baby, the baby might be both as well and since it’s in your body you might also be both. Signing silently.

I asked curiously, So is Emmett both?

No.

Oh. So how are you both?

I don’t know, my parents don’t even know because they’re both just vampires.

After a while of not talking I ask, So why didn’t you tell me?

He starts saying, I don’t… pausing, saying, I guess it’s because my parents found out they freaked out. And honestly I didn't know I could give it to someone that I changed. Ur the first person I've changed.

I asked, Oh. So you thought I’d do the same thing?

He said, Yes.

Well you should know that I wouldn’t have done the same.

Not saying anything else we finished our food in silence as the end of lunch bell rang. We all dumped our trays and went to class.

At the end of the school day we all go back home.

Liam and I go into the garage. Emmett and Sandy go into the house.

Liam askes, after we sit down on the sofa, “Soo when do you want to meet my parents?”

I look at him surprised, “Your… Parents?”

He chuckles at my reaction, saying, “Yes.”

I ask, “Why?”

“Because I want you to meet them.”

After a while of just sitting there in silence I finally agreed to go meet his parents.

We grab the blanket off the couch and lay down on the floor as Liam takes his shirt off and I curl up against his bare chest.

Liam wraps his arms around me.

We just lay there silent.

He leans down and kisses me.

When he pulls away we fall asleep.

Back In the Bedroom

Emmett and Sandy go up to Sandy’s bedroom.

Emmett lays down on Sandy’s bed taking his shirt off as Sandy turns on the tv and puts in a movie turning up the volume then walking over to the bed and climbing in bed curling up against Emmett’s bare chest.

Emmett pushes Sandy off of him so she’s laying down then leans over her kissing her.

He tore her shirt off.

As they keep kissing Sandy takes his shirt off and then she unbuttons his pants, slipping them off and his underwear down to his knees as he gets her pants and underwear off throwing them to the floor.

He flipped her over laying on his back as she straddled him kicking his pants and underwear off as she slammed down on his hard d**k making him gasp as he didn't expect it.

She rides him as they come to their climax over and over again.

After they let go of each other Sandy curls up against Emmett’s bare chest.

Emmett kisses the top of Sandy’s head.

As they watch the movie they both drift to sleep.

About a week later after agreeing to go see Liam’s parents.

Charlie has decided to take me out of school for the time being because the morning sickness has become an everyday and almost an all day thing.

Last night we fell asleep in the garage. We were letting Emmett and Sandy spend some quality time together.

When I woke up at around 5 am. I run outside to the side of the garage putting one hand on the garage and the other on my already bulging stomach as I throw up.

Liam follows me.

After I get done throwing up he asks, “Are you ok?”

I look at him saying, “I’m fine.” closing my eyes.

He put his hand on my back as he watched me.

I then stand up straight as I wipe my mouth with my arm

I look at him. He looked concerned. I tell him matter of factly, "I'm fine baby. I promise." Putting my hand on his cheek as he put his arms around my waist.

He placed his head against my head, closing his eyes.

I smiled up at him. Lifting his chin with my finger making him lift his head off my head and kiss him as he opens his eyes.

I smile up at him, saying, "I love you baby."

He says, "I love you too."

We stand there for a few minutes hugging each other.

We decide to go into the house.

When we walk inside Charlie and Dusty are already awake sitting in the living room watching tv.

Charlie looks at us saying, "Morning."

We both say, "Morning."

I walk into the kitchen rummaging through the freezer. I grab a pack of waffles and a bag of sausage tossing them onto the counter. Opening the fridge I grab the eggs and tub of butter, setting them on the stove next to the fridge.

Liam walks in asking, "Want some help?" As I'm grabbing a fry pan out of the cupboard.

I say, "Sure." As I walk back over to the stove.

As I turn on the stove, opening the tub of butter scooping some with the spatula swatting it into the pan, Liam walks over to the box of waffles sticking 4 into the toaster popping them down. When he grabs the bag of sausage patties and grabs me a plate out of the cupboard beside his head. He sticks 6 of the patties on the plate in a flower shape. He then walked over to the microwave, opened it and stuck it in closing it. He sets the time for 3 minutes.

After the butter melts I crack 4 eggs into the pan. Grabbing the salt and pepper that are on the shelf over the stove shaking some of each onto the 4 eggs.

The four waffles that Liam are working on pop up as he grabs another plate out of the cupboard. He puts the 4 waffles onto it.

After flipping the eggs and making sure the whites are done and the yoke is still yoky. Liam hands me another plate. I put them onto the plate.

After breakfast is ready we have 4 waffles, 4 sausage patties and 2 eggs on 6 different plates.

Around 1 o'clock Liam and I decided to go to my bedroom to grab some clothes. I go into the closet as Liam sits down at the head of my bed as I browse through my clothes.

After about 5 minutes of digging I gave up throwing myself face down on the bed saying mumbling into the bed, "I have no idea what to wear."

Liam chuckled, taking a white slim clothing box out from underneath my bed and laid it down above my head. I turn my head to the side then once I see what it is I slowly sit up, eyes wide just looking at the box, then I look up at Liam, asking, "what's this?"

He chuckled, smiling, saying, "open it."

I slowly lift the lid half way with a finger peering inside. My eyes going wide after seeing that it's red silk cloth inside. I quickly close the lid looking at Liam asking, "this is mine?"

He nodded, smiling at me.

My eyes go wide as I open the lid back up, tossing the lid onto the bed beside the rest of the box this time as I lift the context of the box gently. I take the item all the way out stepping onto the floor as I hold the item up in the air in front of me looking at it. I admire the teal silky fabric, the heart shape of the neck line, and the flowy fabric.

I look at him. He smiles.

I set the dress gently down onto the bed grabbing the matching heels that were under the dress, setting them onto the floor at the end of the bed.

Then I look into the box to make sure I grabbed everything. But to my surprise at the bottom corner of the box there are two small black boxes.

I pick up the bigger of the two boxes opening it. Inside is a necklace. Taking it out of the box. Sitting the box on the bed and holding the necklace up in the air with both hands in front of me. It is a 24 karat 18 diamond necklace and at the center of the 18 diamonds there is a teal diamond shaped sapphire. After admiring it for a good few minutes I set it down on top of the dress.

Then I go back over to the box as I go to pick up the other black box. Liam grabs my hand standing up walking next to me. He grabs the black box with his other hand turning me around so I'm standing away from the bed. Letting go of my hand he goes onto one knee in front of me opening the box revealing a beautiful teal sapphire engagement ring with two 18 carat diamonds on each side of the sapphire on a gold band, it matched the necklace. I look back at him with wide eyes.

He then says, "Shawna, I know we have only been together for a couple months but I love you more than anything and you are my mate. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So Shawna May Hart, will you give me the honor of marrying me and becoming Shawna May Greenwood?"

I look down at him still in shock, smiling saying, "Yes."

He stands up as I hold my right hand as he grabs ahold of my hand. He then puts the perfectly sized ring on my ring finger.

After the shower we head back into the room. After getting dressed. I walked over to my wall mirror admiring myself in the silk strapless dress with matching heels. It went just below my knees. The diamond necklace around my neck and the engagement ring on my right hand.

Around 2 o'clock we head out the door.

About a half hour later we finally pull up to Liam’s parents' house

I looked at the big house. Actually it was more like a mansion made of bricks. There are about 5 stairs to go up to the wooden cream colored front door. It was beautiful with an old majestic look. I looked at Liam asking, "this is where your parents live?"

He smiled saying, "Yes... Well more like my mom. My dad really hasn't been around much since I was 9; he's mostly at the office. I'm just hoping he's willing to be here for this because he's meeting the person I want to spend the rest of my life with."

I look at him sadly.

He looked at me smiling, saying, "It's ok my dad really wasn't around much while I was growing up so I'm used to it. Its kinda hard to explain but the only way i can explain it he chose my mom as his mate so they are not actually mates like you and I. But he needed a mate because of certain things, that i can explain later if you would like. But after I was born he wasn't around much." He kisses me on the top of the head.

Climbing out of the car he walked over to my side of the car opening my door holding a hand out. I grab his hand stepping out of the car taking another step so I'm standing beside him. He shuts the door behind me.

We start walking to the door.

I stop half way up the stairs.

Liam looks at me worried. When he sees my nervous look he smiles saying, "It's ok." Giving my hand a small squeeze.

I ask, looking at him very nervously, "what if they don't like me?"

He chuckled saying, "they're going to love you." Smiling, he gives my hand another squeeze as we start walking the rest of the way.

When we get to the door Liam knocks.

Knock, knock, knock.

When the door opens a very beautiful tall long hair blond, blue eyed woman in a long cream colored silk dress that went half way past her knees and matching flats stood in front of us. She looked almost like Liam. Liam lets go of my hand and walks up to the lady giving her a hug saying, "Hi mom."

She hugs him back, giving him a kiss on the top of his head.

When they let go of each other Liam held his hand out to me. I gladly took it as he introduced me, as I stepped into the house standing next to him, "Mom this is my fiance Shawna."

His mom shut the door. Then turning toward us smiled. She holds her hands out. As I grab them she says, "It's very nice to meet you Shawna. My name is Julie."

She lets go of my hands showing us to the dining room as I grab ahold of Liam’s hand as he asks, "where's dad?"

Julie looks back at him sadly.

He understands completely, saying angrily, "He couldn't even come home for 2 hours to spend time with his family?"

Julie just looks away sadly and keeps walking till we enter a big room with a long table and chairs that could fit over 20 people if needed. It had a big 4 tier diamond waterfall chandelier hanging from the ceiling above the center of the table.

Julie says walking over to one of the end chairs, "please sit."

Liam and I walk over to the chairs next to her at the side of the table and sit down next to her.

Around 7 o'clock. After dinner we thank Julie for dinner and the nice evening and head home.

When we get home we walk into the house.

We both say goodnight to Charlie, Dusty, Sandy and Emmett and head upstairs.

I kick my heels off grabbing a sports bra and short shorts and go into the bathroom. I change out of the dress putting the bra and shorts on then picking the dress up off the floor. I head back into the room.

When I get to the room Liam is already in shorts and under the covers on my bed.

I hang the dress up in the closet. Then walking over to my night stand by my bed I take my necklace and ring off laying it on the top. Then I climb into bed curling up against Liam’s bare chest. As we drift to sleep.
