The Dangerous Sisters

Chapter 5

Liam POV

I follow James as his leg that Shawna just broke is dangling as he runs as a wolf.

I turn into my wolf and see I am bigger than the brown wolf that is running in front of me down the hall.

James jumps out the window, breaking the glass front door.

I follow him out.

As we get into the woods, I pick up space pouncing on him as he makes a thud to the ground his broking arm already ends up going in a weird position.

I snarl at him, making him stop moving instantly. Mentally telling myself that's never happened before interesting.

James rolls onto his back in a submissive. I snarl, "Change."

James changes back to human, but he isn't human at all he's a vampire.

I transform into my vampire, grabbing him by the neck and pushing him against a tree hard.

I snarl again, "Who the HELL are you?"

James just stared at me.

I yell again, "Answer me!!"

As if I commanded him, he turns his head to the side reveling his neck submissive and saying, "My name is James Hansly. My father is Vladimir Greenwood. My mother is Lily Hansly. I have known Shawna since she was 11. She was my best friend. I started dating her when she turned 14. My father found out and told me that i needed to kill her mother two years ago. I took Shawna to her bedroom while I told her what my father said. Shawna started crying and begging me not to kill her mom. I got frustrated and angry, I hit Shawna in the face. I didn't mean to but i kept hitting her. Charlie came in just in time and told me to leave so I did. My father found out that I told shawna and ordered me to kill Shawna's mom. I tried arguing with him but it didn't work. So I went to her job and found her at her car and I sank my fangs into her neck. but I couldn't finish her. So I let her go as she crumpled to the ground. I thought someone would have found her. But the next day i found out that she ended up dieing. Still to this day I don't know why he wanted me to kill her. But I came to Shawna to tell her what I did and to turn myself in..."

I shook my head in disbelief and yelled at him, "Stop."

I let him go as I backed up defeated as he just stood there like he was in a daz.

I think to myself so this guy is my half brother. Who would have thought. I wonder if my mom knows. Humm.

I look back at James and ask, "Do u know who I am?"

James shakes his head getting him out of the daz he was in.

He looks at me and says, "Yes. You are the son of Julia Greenwood and Vladimir Greenwood. Also a Hybrid of a Werewolf and Vampire. And also the half brother of Emmett and myself. Also the mate of Shawna."

I look at him and say, " Emmett is my half brother? that can't be."

He says to me, "He is ur half brother but also ur cousin. his mother was ur mom's sister. And his dad was Vladimir Greenwood. Vladimir killed his mother because she threatened to go to the authorities when Emmett was the age of 5 years old. And then he forced ur mother to take Emmett in as her own or he would kill Emmett. that is why you two grew up together."

I look at him stunned.

After a few minutes of just starting at James I tell him, "stay put I have to make a phone call.

I grab my phone out of my back pocket I call my mom.

Ring, Ring, Ring

She answers, "Hello son."

I say, "Hi mom, I have a couple questions."

She signs saying, "What is it?"

I pass for a minutethen saying, "Do you know James Hansly?"

She said confused, "Who is that son?"

I pass for a second then answer, "Well apparently it's my half brother. And apparently so is Emmett. "

She says just as surprisd as I was, "What?" after a few minutes she adds "Bring him to the house."

I say, "Ok first I have to get Shawna and Micheal from the apartment."

She said, "Ok, I'll see you with in the hour."

I sigh and say "Ok mom, see you soon, I love you."

She says sounding a little distant, "See you soon son. I love you too." Then she hangs up.

I put my phone back in my back pocket.

I looked at James and said, " We are going to go get my wife and child and we are going to go to my mom's house. I do not want you to say ANYTHING about Shawna's mother, do you understand me?"

James looked at me and said, "Yes sir."

Then we start walking to my apartment building. I turn to James before we walk into the front door., "Do NOT say a word to my wife. Do not touch my child. I want you to stay here and do NOT move."

He looks at me and says, "Yes Sir."

I turn and go inside the broken door, mentally reminding myself to call maintenance and have the door fixed.

I sigh as I walk down the hall and opening my door to my apartment.

I walk inside shutting the door behind me.

Shawna looks up at me while she's breastfeeding Micheal.

I say. "Hi Honey." As I walk and sit next to her.

She looks at me concerned and says, "What's wrong?"

I look at her saying, "You are my world you know that." watching as her beautiful emerald eyes roll at me. Then I say, before she can say anything, "So I found out some things."

She stops feeding sleeping Micheal putting her bra and shirt back into place, as she says, "grab me Micheal's car seat."

I smile at her asking, "How did you know?"

She just looks at me as I kiss the top of her head standing up and grabbing Micheal's car seat sitting it down on the coffee table in front of the couch.

She asked, "Who is all going? And where exacly are we going?" As she straps Micheal in the carseat.

I sigh as I watch her, saying, "James, myself, you and Micheal. I have to call Emmit to have him and Sandy come. We are going to my mom's."

As she stands up and starts gathering stuff for the trip all she says is, "Ok."

I walk up to her as she's packing the diperbag and grab her pulling her into me saying, "You know you are the bravest and most amazing woman."

She rolls her eyes and says, "Go call your cousin and my sister." As she gives me a kiss and pushes her self out of my arms.

I reluctantly let her go as I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and called Emmett.

Ring, Ring, Ring.

He answers saying, "Hello Cuz."

I chuckle thinking to myself, funny how you're actually my brother. Saying outloud, "I need you to come to my apartment please. We gotta go see mom to discuss some things that have come up."

He says, "Ok Sandy and I'll be over in 15."

"Ok." Then I hang up.

Shawna is still gathering stuff for the trip. I say, "I'm gonna pull the truck around. Sandy and Emmett will be here in 15." I walk over to her and give her a kiss.

I head out the door as I look over my shoulder saying mentally to Shawna, I love you always.

I love you too. I get back mentally.

I walk down the hall and open the broken door. Motioning to James to follow me as he flexes his now healed arm. He follows me to my Red Ram 2500. I tell him, "Back." As I climb in the front seat.

he climbs in the back seat behind me.

I turn on the truck and pull it to the door.

I put the truck in park taking the key out of the Ignition.

Clumbing out of the truck looking at James and saying, "Stay "

Shutting the door. As Emmet and Sandy pulls up in Emmett’s Jeep.

I wait for them. They get out of the jeep. Emmett looks at my truck at where James is sitting but he can't see him though the tent.

Looks at me and asks mentally, Who is that?

I shake my head in response. We walk in through the broken door as Sandy asks, "What the hell happened to the door."

I say, "Don't ask." As we walk down the hall to my apartment.

When we get inside Shawna is sitting on the sofa on her phone.

She looks up as we walk in.

Sandy, Emmett and Shawna greet each other.

Shawna grabs the diperbag as I grab Micheal who is still sleeping as we head to the cars.

Sandy and Emmit climbs into their car.

Shawna opens the back passenger door. looks at James and her eyes go silverish spring green, to silverish emerald green as she growls a very low growl.

I put my hand on her shoulder feeling her relax instantly her eyes still not going back to her emerald green though, whispering, "He will behave I promise."

she steps to the side as I hook Michael in the truck.

She then climbs in the truck.

I walk around the back motioning to Emmett asking if he's ready. He in turns give me a thumbs up.

I climb in the truck.

A few minutes after Shawna turns to James her eyes still flickering from one silver color to the other as she snarls saying, "Do NOT touch or go near my son. If you do I will break every limb in ur body. And do not say a word until we get to Julie's house." I looked in the review mirror at James and I couldn't help but chuckle because he was cowering in his seat.

I grabbed ahold of Shawna's hand trying to calm her.

It was kinda a quit ride to my mom's house except for the music that Shawna was playing though her phone into the bluetooth radio. And the cooing noises from Michael when he woke up.

When we pulled up to the house my dad's car was in the driveway.

I put my truck in park. turned to James telling him, "Stay." getting out of the truck.

Shawna hoped out of the truck grabbing Micheal and the diperbag out of the back seat giving James one last glare and growling at him as she slammed the door.

Sandy hopped out of Emmett’s Jeep coming up to Shawna as she handed her Micheal.

The 4 of us walk up to the door. As I say to my mom mentally, Emmett and Sandy are here. Sandy doesn't know about James so don't say anything about him yet, please. Emmett doesn't want her to know about James.

My mom says back the same way, Ok.

I knock on the door.

Knock, Knock, Knock.

My mom comes to the door and opens it inviting us inside.

We step inside. My mom shuts the door.

Sandy hands Micheal to her.

As she steps around us and motions us to follow her.

We walk down the hall past the dining room and then into the living room. It has a 75 inch flat screen mounted to the wall away from the doorway. There's a love seat to the right of the tv. to the left there is another love seat. And in between the two love seats there is a full size L shape couch. That also has a sectional connected to that. there is a coffee table that is in the middle of the floor that has a tv remote, a stack of 6 wolf coasters and a few other ods and ends things.

My mom has Sandy take a seat and hands her Micheal and the tv remote. Sandy sits on the love seat grabing Micheal as she sets the tv remote next to her.

As she turns to Shawna, Emmett and myself she says, "We need to have a conversation." Then turns back to Sandy who is talking to a smiling Micheal and says to her, "Make yourself at home. Emmett, Shawna, Liam and I need to have a conversation about some thing."

Sandy nodes her head.

Mom gestures for the 3 of us to follow her. We walk into the dinning room past the table through a set of doors down a hallway and into her office.

It looks like a regular office with a desk and chair and in front of the desk is two cushion chairs. There is a book case to the left of the desk against the wall in the corner. To the right of the desk is two more matching chairs. And next to the book case is a matching sofa.

Mom walks to the chair on the other side of the desk sitting down and gestures for us to sit down. Shawna and I sit in the two chairs in front of the desk I sit down in the one closest to the two chairs. Emmett sits on the sofa.

She brakes the silence asking, "So how do we know this James guy?"

Shawna explains the long story from when she became friend's with James to a couple years ago when he disappeared to what happened this morning.

Then I cut in and explain my part leaving the part where he killed Shawna's mother out.

About an hour later after explaining everything.

My mom sits there silent for a few minutes then looks at me and says, "Well I guess we should bring in the Jack ass."

Shawna sucks in a breath as she fights with her wolf and vampire to not run to the truck and slotter James. I grab her hand and ask, "Do you need to go into the living room with Sandy and Michael?"

She closes her eyes still fighting the urge to kill James. She lets out a low growl her eyes still closed as her wolf starts to try and come out. Her finger nails forming into razer sharp claws. As another growl come out from her. I can here her bones start to crack and pop as she fighting to transform.

I say, "Baby?"

My mom, Emmett and I are now standing as Shawna is fully transforming into her wolf.

Shawna opens her eyes seeing me and says to me mentally pleading with me, I can't be human with him in here with me. please.

She lays down placing her head on her paws and just looks up at me with pleading eyes. I put my hand on the side of her check as she closes her eyes leaning into my touch and say outloud, "Ok baby that's fine but I do need you to go onto the sofa or somewhere so I can bring him inside."

She purcks up and waggs her tail.

She trots over to where Emmett is standing as I explain, "She doesn't feel comfortable being in human form while james is in her."

Emmett walks to the chairs that are by the other wall and sits in the one closes to the desk as mom sits back down in her chair.

Shawna jumps on the sofa and curls up laying her head on the arm of the sofa.

I sigh and walk over to her saying, " I will be right back. I love you." as I kiss her on the nose and she licks my face. As Mom, Emmett and I chuckle.

I walk out of the room, through the dinning room and out the door. I walk up to my truck opening the back door where James is at. I look at James and say, "You will come inside with me. Shawna is in wolf form so unless you want to die today you will not say a word about her mother. Do u understand?"

James looked terrified all of a sudden and nodded his head.

He gets out of the truck. I shut the door. We walk inside through the dinning room and into my mother's office.

I walk in first taking a seat at the end of the sofa beside Shawna as she lays her head in my lap.

James walks in as Shawna's hackles raise and she starts to growl.

My mom looks at her and says, "It's alright Shawna."

As Shawna calms down and closers her eyes.

My mom says, "Please have a seat James."

James starts to walk when Shawna's eyes pop back open and looks straight at him. He gulps looking very pale and sits down where I was sitting.

He gulps again when Shawna let's out another warning growl.

I start petting her head as she closes her eyes.

Mom looks at James and says, "James explain urself."

He started, "My name is James Hansly. My father is Vladimir Greenwood. My mother is Lily Hansly."

My mom says, "So your mom was my husband's secretary?"

James nodded his head.

She then asks, "How long have you known Shawna?"

He looks over at Shawna, then looks back at mom and answers, "I have known Shawna since she was 11. She was my best friend. I started dating her when she turned 14. I loved her but I ended up ruining that."

She looks at him, continuing asking, "Who is my son to you?"

James asks, "Which one?"

She rolls her eyes and says, "Liam."

"He is my half brother. He is yours and Vladimir Greenwood's son. Also a Hybrid of a Werewolf and Vampire. And also the half brother of Emmett and myself. Also the mate of Shawna."

Emmett sat up and Shawna lifts her head from my lap as Emmett lookes straight at James, saying, "Bull s**t. There is no way."

James looks over at him and says, "You are Liam's half brother but also you are his cousin. Your mother was Julie’s sister. And your biological father is Vladimir Greenwood. Vladimir killed your mother because she threatened to go to the authorities when you were the age of 5 years old. And then he forced Liam's mother to take you in as her own or he would kill you. That is why you and Liam grew up together."

Emmett looked dumbfounded and couldn't find anymore words.

Mom asks, "How was Emmett conceived?"

James said, "You already know the answer."

Emmett looked at mom and asked, "Did ur husband r**e my mother?"

Mom looked down and then looked back up saying to both Emmett and Liam, "I new that you two were probably half brothers. Because my sister came to me after she found out she was pregnant about 5 weeks after I had Liam and she told me that Vladimir r***d her and that's how she ended up pregnant. But I didn't believe her because at the time I thought Vladimir would never do that. Until one day when Liam was about 5 years old I wanted to surprise Vladimir at his work and that's when I caught him sleeping with Lily in his office. But I didn't know how to even start with getting proof or anything like that."

Emmett and I looked at mom as she looked down at her desk sad.

We looked at each other. Shawna lifter her head so I could stand up and Emmett stand up as we walk over to mom both giving her a hug.

Emmett says, "I really don't care who my mom was or my dad is. You are the one who raised me so I consider you as my mom."

That made mom smile.

As we finished up our meeting Shawna still in wolf form stands up and stretches her front legs.

Then standing back up and shaking out her fur.

My mom walks up to the door and gestures us to follow her.

Shawna still in wolf form walks up to mom and rubs against her as mom chuckles. She walks out into the hall as I follower her. Emmett is close behind. And then James. then mom. We walk through the dinning room and into the living room.

Sandy looks up from playing with Michael her eyes go wide when she see Shawna in wolf form. When Emmett comes into the room he walks up to her and gives her a kiss.

Then James walks into the room. And her eyes go even wider. Asking, "What the hell are you doing here."

I explain that he rode here in my truck. and that he is Emmett's and my half brother and that Emmett is my half brother.

After dinner we decide to head home.

Sandy and Emmett go back to Charlie’s and Shawna and I go back to our apartment. And we left James at my mom's house because she had a few more questions.

Julie POV

I was so glad that the kids didn't ask about why Vladimir's car was here. I didn't want to have to explain it to them.

I say goodbye to the kids. And have James follow me back into the house.

We walk back into my office. Vladimir is sitting in one of the chairs in front of my desk.

He turns around as we walk into the room, and his face turns white, then red with anger when he sees James behind me.

I step in his line of view and growl at him in warning.

He calms down. Asking James through clenched teeth, "What the hell are you..."

I look at him, interrupting him, "You are not here to ask questions you are here to answer questions." Vladimir shuts up.

I tell James, "Please sit down."

James sits over on the sofa. Gulping, looking at Vladimir. As I walked around and sit in my chair.

I look at Vladimir and ask, "Who is James to you?"

Vladimir looked at me and says, "Who do you think he is?"

"Well I already know but I want you to tell me urself."

He rolls his eyes and says, "He is Lily's son."

I ask "And who is he to you?"

"My dead beat son."

angrily I tell him, " So because this young man told me everything that has been happening over the last 10 years he is a dead beat? Or actually should i say 19 years?"

He turnes pale at my words.

I say to him, "Yea I know about Emmett, my sister and everything. And I am starting to realize that my sister was right all along."

He turns even more white.

I ask, "So you really have nothing to say?"

He looks down then looks me straight into the eyes, and says, "What do you want me to say Julie?"

I glare at him asking, "How about you tell me why you killed our daughter in law's mother?"

He looks at me startled at my question.

He then says, "I had her killed for reaons."

I roll my eyes and say, "So you forced your own son to kill your daughter in law's mother?"

he looks shocked again, asking, "How'd you know?"

"Your son showed up at Liam’s and Shawna's apartment about to turn himself in."

He turns and glares at James as James looks down at the floor.

I say, "Vladimir."

he turns back to me angry.

I say, "It was James who did the killing but you are the one who didn't give him an option. Shawna's father has been looking for the killer of his wife since she died. because James didn't actually kill her he left her thinking she would be found."

Vladimir glared at me, saying, "Why do I care?"

Looking at him not expecting what he just told me I say, "Because Vladimir that was ur daughter's mother."

"And? Charlie or whatever his name is can't do anything about it even if he found out it was me."

"Why do you say he can't?"

"Because the council wouldn't allow it."

"Bull s**t, Vladimir. If I told them that you took an innocent life they would. And there's a witness for the crime."

"Yea and that means, James would go too. because he's the one who committed the crime." He retorted.

He was right of course if I reported and James testified they both would go away because of the fact that James committed the crime.

At this point I didn't know exactly what to do.

So all I did was ask, "So you cheated on me with ur secretary and you r***d my sister?"

"Yep."

I just noddle. And said "Get out."

He gets up and leaves as he laughs.

I look down at my desk as I say, "James there is a room upstairs that one of the maids has made up for you please leave my office."
