It was six thirty in the morning. Cecelia, bleary-eyed but still gorgeous, was second up. Jack had been first to rise and it was his stumble down the stairs, and singing and whistling in the bathroom that woke everyone else; it echoes in Jack and Amanda’s bathroom and, if you leave the door open … well, it is louder, and most certainly, less inviting. In a squeaky voice, pinching her nose, Mandy suggested Cecelia return to the bedroom before she shushed Jack and closed the door on his ablutions. She recommended, to the heads poking around doors to see what the commotion was, that it would be best if everyone else used the other bathroom; they did.
