What she was expressing soon became clear to me, once she sent me to get changed, with instructions to be quick about it; she wanted to go out. Amongst my many other duties, and the list of them seemed to be getting longer each day, I was also her chauffer. I took her or Ann wherever they wanted to go, whenever they wanted to go there. Where she desired taking surprised me slightly. Once I had changed, she instructed me to take us all to a local shopping center and to one shop in particular. Thirty minutes later, with the car safely parked, she led a baffled Ann and I into a very large pet store.
