NIGHTVEIL WOOD
“Welcome to Nightveil Wood, please tread carefully as everything in here can kill you” Bokor said to Flora in a horrified manner. His movement was very calculated as not to step on any object, Flora observed him and followed him accordingly.
While walking in the forest of Nightveil, Flora notices some weird things happening, as she will look forward and see a shape of a human, but when she gets closer it turns out to be a tree, the birds there are more of owls and they seem not to be scared of humans. She came across dead animals, brutally killed and eaten, she could not help but wonder what voracious creature did these to the dead animals.
She feels oppressive and unsettling, with towering trees that block out most of the sunlight, casting long, distorted shadows on the ground. The branches twist unnaturally, resembling bony fingers, and the thick underbrush seems to move even when there’s no breeze.
They continued in the Nightveil Wood forest as they stopped under a big tree to rest for the night, Bokor went to the woods and got some firewood which he used to bring up fire for light and warm up themselves.
Flora sat exhaustively and drank her remaining water, Bokor looked at her and said “Whatever you see tomorrow do not shout or run, remember the reason why you are here. Stay calm and be courageous” Flora nodded her head in an understanding way.
At the Crimson Ridge, Oti couldn't sleep as he continues to pray to the gods to bring his only daughter back to him, he has had nothing to eat as all efforts for him to eat were void. He wishes to see his daughter again.
At dawn, Bokor and Flora headed to a very big Cave, the cave looked old and was dark inside of it. Bokor turned to Flora and said “From here you will go alone, remember to be calm and do not panic no matter the situation.” She asked him “What exactly am I to look for inside? How will I find it?
He said to her “he will find you” Flora was dumb founded when she heard it was a ‘He’ not it. Bokor sat outside the cave waiting as Flora went inside alone with a fire torch.
Flora calls on the gods for protection as she has no idea what she is going to face. She felt something that moved very fast behind her, she turned with her fire torch but couldn't see anything or anyone. Immediately she turned front she saw a creature standing in front of her.
He was a human shaped beast, standing tall with a powerful, muscular frame covered in coarse, dark fur. His face is a menacing mix of man and wolf, with a long snout, sharp fangs, and glowing, predatory eyes that gleam with a feral hunger. Its ears are pointed, standing alert atop its head, while its hands and feet have morphed into claws, capable of tearing through flesh with ease.
She couldn't shout as she remembered the advice of Bokor to keep calm and be courageous, but her heartbeats were heard in the cave as it became loud. Sweat dripped down her head and neck. He smelled her and he walked around her. Then he grabbed her by the hand and went inside the cave more.
The werewolf name is Vagar, who was the only surviving werewolf in Nightveil Wood and doesn't have the ability to turn into human as rumours believed that he was cursed that way by a witch which he forcefully slept with without knowing.
He pushed Flora to the ground and howls for sometime, he then came on top of her, spread her legs, she saw him that he was hard already as his p***s becomes long and hard, he then forced himself on her, Flora screamed as the penetration was the painfullest thing she has ever encountered.
Bokor heard her voice from outside the cave and understood what was going on, he did nothing but only to feel pity for her.
When Vagar was done he carried her and kept her at the entrance of the cave looking at Bokor, Bokor saw him and bowed to him with his knees on the ground and head facing down. Vagar dropped Flora and went inside,
Flora was covered in a pool of blood and was slightly cautious, Bokor carried her to a stream far from the cave and washed her up, gave her lots of water to drink and allowed her to gain her strength a little.
Flora could nearly walk as the pain was severe, but she tried as she always found a place to rest in cause of the journey home. She relied on the promise she made to her father that she will come back home no matter the circumstances, which gave her strength and resilience.
Crimson Ridge leaders gathered as Oti has pleaded for a meeting, he said “My daughter and the witch doctor haven't return from the quest to go to Nightveil Wood and bring solution, we all know that going to Nightveil Wood is a two-day journey and returning as well is still the same two days journey, this is the 6th day and they are not back, please what has happened to my daughter?” He asked, looking all pitiable and shaking.
The tribal head chief said to him “Even a dog gets worried when her puppy is missing talk more of a human, please be patient with us, if by the end the day we have not got any response, I will send hunters to go and search for them tomorrow close to Nightveil Wood boundaries to see if anything has happened to them. For I am greatly worried as well and hope that our solution is brought to us.” as he stared at the sun wishing it would not go down fast.
Flora while coming home had a lot on her mind and couldn’t help it but asked Bokor “What exactly am I bringing as the solution? Was my virginity the price I needed to pay? What will I say to them that it’s the solution?” She paused, hoping to get answers from Bokor.
Bokor refuse saying a word to her as he kept on moving on a fast pace, she walked right in front of him and said “I need some answers to my questions” He kept on walking, immediately she stopped and said “Is either you answer me or I am not coming with you to the village” acting stubbornly.
Bokor looked at her in a terrifying manner and said “All you need to know will be due in 9 months time” Goosebumps appeared on her skin rapidly as she just realized that she is pregnant for a beast.
Upon the entrance to Crimson ridge, Flora became weak again and asked for them to rest till the next morning as her strength was failing her.
Bokor agreed as he wanted to rest as well, the night was long for Flora as she kept on thinking about what Bokor said to her, this was too much for her to take in.
Her mind raced with questions she didn’t have answers to. What would it be like to raise a child who could shift into something wild? Would the baby have instincts she couldn’t control? Would it look at her with those same piercing, otherworldly eyes its father had?
The night felt endless, every shadow in the room taking on new shapes. She couldn’t help but wonder if the child would sense the moon as it grew inside her, feel some pull beyond her own understanding. She tried to close her eyes, tried to quiet her thoughts, but the strange mix of fear and wonder kept her wide awake.
