Tired, scared. That’s what I felt. I was running. We were running. I wasn’t alone, that was sure. There were people with me. I could hear a lot of heavy breathing. And I could see others running out of the corner of my eye. But I couldn’t understand why I was running with them. They were people I saw in school. Except this time, we weren’t running through hallways. We were running through some jungle, or forest, maybe? I don’t know. All I know is that there were trees and plants, and endless grass. I heard screams, and my first instinct would’ve been to look back. But somehow, something inside me, didn’t want to. I didn’t even know why I was running. I just had the feeling that there was something so frightening coming after me. It felt weird. I don’t even know how I got there. I could feel something or someone catching up to me. And then, just like a horror movie, I tripped. Because I couldn’t get up at once, I finally looked back and saw Jane, my classmate, on the ground. I ran to get to her so I can help her. But just as I was to stretch my hand out to grab hers, she gasped and screamed. And just like that, she vanished. I couldn’t move. Then someone grabbed my hand and pulled me as he ran. We ran and ran, and as we did, I felt my cheeks get hot. I knew I was crying then. The place suddenly became a blur. A complete blur of nightmares. I felt my legs getting weaker and I was about to give up. Next thing I knew, the ground shook and I was falling into an abbys with only darkness and screams in my memory.
