The flight to Los Angeles was enjoyable. As we made our way through the terminal at the other end of the airport, I made sure to keep an eye out for any threats and to keep her close by my side. The absence of a far guard was a source of minor concern for me, but I felt confident in my abilities to keep her safe in any situation.
