/Jane/ He laughed and took a step back, allowing his hand to fall from my shoulder. "It's time for me to shower. "Why don't you go have some breakfast and then I'll meet you in there in a little while," he suggested after hearing his suggestion. Then I left the room, holding the door open for him to walk through as well. I nodded in agreement and left the room. He walked in the opposite direction of me, and I caught a glimpse of a small smile on his face. Upon entering the kitchen, I groaned to myself, wishing I had skipped lunch today instead of eating so much. It was just my parents and I sitting at the breakfast bar, sipping our morning coffee.
