With a shake of my head, I patted the empty side once again. "Lie down and keep your mouth shut. The effects of my hangover have begun to manifest themselves. "Silence and embrace me," I urged, trying not to chuckle.
In between chuckles, he shifted onto his side and sat himself down so that he was facing me again. I took a deep breath and prayed that he wouldn't be able to notice the effect he was having on my body. His lovely green eyes were attempting to hypnotize me, and I could feel myself being drawn in by them. I breathed deeply and slid closer to him on the couch. As he shifted and slid one arm to the side, tucking it under my neck before wrapping it around me firmly, the grin that adorned his lips was gorgeous.
