/Jane/ The drive back home was deafeningly quiet. I had no idea what to say or do, so I said nothing and did nothing but stand there and watch the trees whizz by. As we approached my driveway, I grabbed the hood of my sweater and pulled it up, partially covering my face. Everyone would have known if I hadn't told them I'd been crying. I was walking through the house when Kurt came up behind me, his hand resting on the small of my back the entire time.
