We stayed hugging for a few minutes, with no words exchanged between the two of us but only basking on the comforting warmth our body emits that was a nice contrast against the chilly fall air.
It was extremely comforting getting hugged and I would've stayed in this position for a little more longer until Arcane decided to ruin it by starting to tease me.
"Okay enough with that sappy talk. I've seen videos of that little performance you did on your party. What was that about? You didn't tell me you got a different boyfriend. How about Kairo?" she teased and I groaned. I swear people around me switch from serious to teasing all the time, not that I can say otherwise.
