Hello! This is not an update and if you were expecting an update, I'm sorry. You could skip this if you want since it is not part of the story at all and it wouldn't matter if you read this or not.
Now, this is more of a personal update but I thought I should let you all know. Now don't panic, I'm not abandoning this work nor am I not finishing this because trust me, I will. This notice is just to inform you guys that I probably won't be posting any updates or update daily next month. I know I have been updating daily for this month and it was fun but I want to say that that wouldn't be the case for next month. There are various reasons as to why.
First of all, class is starting next month for me and I need to adjust myself to that. Second reason is, August has not been a fun month for me. I was stuck in a slump for the entirety of the month and not just a writing slump but a life slump. I had no motivation to do anything and so I couldn't really write. I tried to write a few times but I just felt frustrated because I couldn't put my thought out there and I didn't want to write something that I know I didn't give my best to and if you haven't already noticed, I had the past chapters pre-written. I had it all piled up, ready for update. Now originally I wanted to write some chapters this month and continue with the daily update until next month too but my brain was empty and I was just not ready to write anything. So this leads to the third reason. I don't trust myself to be able to write every single day. I didn't want to write something knowing that the reason that I was writing was because I am pressured to be able to update every single day. I often fall into slumps and its sporadic so I can't trust myself to be able to write and write good everyday. Also I love writing and I absolutely don't want to see writing as a chore (because I've been there and I don't want that to happen ever again) so that's why I am taking this break.
This month was stressful for me and one of the few things that add spice to my mundane days was my cat and you guys who have given this story a chance. I didn't think this was going to receive feedback at all but everyday, when I open the site to update and I see someone reading this, it instantly brightens my day a little. This is my first ever published book so I'm happy to see people actually enjoy something out of my imagination. So I made this notice because I don't know, maybe someone was waiting for this to update everyday on their notifications (though I doubt that) so I made a decision to let you guys know and not to leave you hanging when I just don't update for a whole month lol. Also I've been trying to go back to reading more and using that experience to discover my own writing style so if you notice a sudden shift in how I write things, it's because of that. Also I know there might be some plot holes but I am still learning so please bear with me for a bit ahaha. Don't worry though, I will be back come October and I'm thinking of posting bi-weekly for September until then but we'll see. For now, I hope you wait for this to update and hope you're ready for what's to come because I had it planned, just not written :). Once again sorry and thank you at the same time!

P.S: I kinda feel guilty leaving this with a mini cliffhanger from Chapter 33 so I'm probably going to update once or twice in September, let's see. :)
