A few months later
Sarai’s POV
“Push! You can do it!”
I nodded, panting heavily.
Derek sat by my side and squeezed my hands.
It's been eight months since Cassian left me. Eight months since Derek found me under the rain with my bruised belly and no one to call.
“You're gonna make it. I'm right here, by your side.” His smile was comforting, but the pain was stealing it away.
“Push!!!”
My head drummed heavily. Pain erupted from my body as I fought hard to keep up, I know I have to make it, but I just couldn't continue.
I looked into Derek's eyes once again and let out a sharp scream and gave up.

Cassian
My life has been a total mess.
Pained, I was watching the TV. Lena had gone out to one of those her numerous boyfriends feigning a show.
The TV announcer was praising a new mysterious artist named Estelle Belle.
I looked closely, the painting looked familiar, something tells me she's the one, there's no denying it, but what can I do?
I know that brush, it's hers, the golden one I personally bought for her.
“That's her.” I whispered to myself.
I saw her fire, I can still feel it, but the moment she turned to the screen, my heart skipped a beat.
It isn't her, or is it?

2 years later
“Hey!”
My two little demons were at it again. Turning the house upside down and playing with my paintbrush.
Damn!
Sometimes, I feel like flogging them, but those puppy eyes, it knocks me off.
“Nova! Cairo!”
Immediately, they froze. They never know I was watching all these while.
I named my two angels stars and storms, because they were both my star and my storm, and right now, they're storming the house. I wish I could control it.
“We're sorry mom, we just want you to paint for us.” Nova begged.
I had said today, I won't be painting, I'm going to take a break, but these two, oh my God!
“Please!” They chorused.
I couldn't refuse those eyes. The glowing silver eyes of the man I wish I could just forget already.
Well, he's in the past and nothing's going to stop me from painting for my angels.
I began painting again, yes, because of them, my angels.
I reinvented my life, I can't wait on that selfish d**k, I can't wait on Cassian.
“Alright, I'll paint something, but just one, and on one condition.” I said sternly, they were unfazed, just smiling gracefully like the little kids they were.
“You boys will have to clean up this mess or else, Mommy's not going to paint.” I smiled. Sometimes, I just enjoy commanding them, but as for the cleaning, I know I'm going to end be the one doing it.
These ones, they'll only make it worse.
After I had cleaned the place, alone, all they did was jump over the whole place.
It's so annoying, but I enjoy watching the scenery. It just reminds me what he's lost, and what he wouldn't get to see.
I still miss him, I hope he's happy now with Lena.
“Alright boys, let's paint.”
“Give me that!” Nova cried.
“No!”
They were at it again.
“Hey, don't worry, everyone's going to paint. Don't worry boys.” I stroked their gentle curly hair softly.
“No, I want that golden brush. I want that one mom.” Cairo insisted.
“Alright, you can have mine.”
Their faces both went sour. They believed the golden brush carried magic, so if mama didn't have one, she wouldn't be able to make magical paintings.
That brush was bought for me by Cassian, one of my most treasured birthday gifts, but I'll sacrifice it for my angels, after all, they're the ones that made me paint again.
“Come on boys. Don't be sour. Those brushes are magical brushes, right?”
They nodded.
“But mama is a fairy. So I don't need my magic wand.” I smiled.
“Are you sure about that, mom?”
Nova pressed, he was the pushy one.
“Of course, and today, I'm giving both of you my wand so you can also make some magic too.”
They were very happy. I never allowed them to play with those brushes, but after all, it's nothing. It's theirs from now on.
“So are you boys ready to make some magic?”
“Yes!!!”
We spent the whole day, painting together happily as one big happy family, at least I wasn't bored that Derek wasn't home. He was out of town for some business.
So yes for the record, my angels kept me company.
When it was late, I put them to sleep and kissed them on their foreheads.
When I was about to leave, Nova asked me something.
“Mom, what about Daddy?”
I know he was referring to Derek.
“Oh my sweet boy, Daddy's fine. He's just working. And I promise you, once he's back, we're going to go to Paris together.” I giggled.
They rejoiced in joy and scattered the bed I had already made.
These boys!
I made them sleep and went back to my room. All I could think was him, their Daddy.
I still miss him, I really do.

Cassian
“f**k me!” She moaned.
“Harder!”
I pushed more, I wanted to scatter her womb, after all, what do I pay her for.
Lena wasn't home, she just sent me a text she wouldn't be coming so I decided to help myself.
I held her hands and kissed her neck, she has to beg.
I suckled on her bare body, savouring each part of it.
The thank I got was her sweet moaning.
Damn, I've missed this.
I held her neck with one hand and squeezed those soft balls with the other.
I stole the moans and kissed her. It's all mine, it's my money.
I held her up and played with her love button. My c**k massaged it thoroughly, no entry, just sweet massage.
She moaned softly, each sound comforting to my troubled soul.
I pushed it in now, she screamed, but I covered her lips with mine.
I went in again, forceful this time, her moaning was painful, but it didn't stop me, after all, she was enjoying it.
“Do you want me to stop, Bella?”
I asked, my hands on her ripe n*****s.
“No,” she quivered. “f**k me!”
She screamed the moment I pushed it in again. I wish she was the one.
The more I pushed, the more I squeezed, the more she rode my c**k, the more she suckled on it, I only thought about her.
It's just too much. And you know what, I can't do this anymore.
For months now, I've been trying to find her, but every lead I've gotten is just a f*****g dead end.
I thought doing this would help me get over her, but it didn't, it only worsened it.
I pushed her away and left the bed to wear my pants.
“Hey, what happened?” She cried.”Am I not good enough?”
I didn't answer, she can't be as good as she was. I picked up my phone and stared at a picture of her in Vernice, it was blurry, but it was all I needed.
“Where are you, my heartbeat?”
