ESTOR (past):
Words were stuck in his throat, at the brief gentle trusting smile she flashed at him and the content feeling in her emerald orbs. So unguarded, so not him but this moment felt like it was supposed to be unguarded.
But he thought of how it all happened. He was willing to wait another year or so. To confess and to grow. Never in his wild imagination, he thought Zelda would be the first one to initiate the first kiss between them and the first to confess. He confessed, he kissed her too and had their little moment although it was disturbed by his royal guard whom he didn’t know what to do with. He erased the mental picture of his guard and thought of the evening.
A light suddenly struck him. He was a fool! He did everything and forgot the main thing! How could he do that?
