Elena’s POV I was awakened by the sunlight shining on my face. Stirring awake on my seat, I shifted and stretched out my lips, but then I felt something fall on my lap. Looking down, a smile instantly formed on my lips as I saw the maroon cape of Prince Deacon draped on me. Holding it close, I looked around and found my warriors busy doing their own thing. But what put me in an awkward situation was the teasing glint in Maise and Saige’s eyes while they stared at me with knowing eyes. Clearing my throat, I groggily asked, “Where’s Prince Deacon?” “Miss him already?” Saige teased, moving her brows in a wave.
