Chapter 30: THE PERSON WHO FELL IN LOVE

Third Person's Point of View

Ngayon na ang araw na pinakahihintay nang lahat. Ang araw nang Spartan Games. Ang araw kung saan magkakaalaman na kung sino ba ang nararapat para sa nagiisang reyna nang Greece. Ang araw kung saan makakaalaman na kung sino ang dapat mag may ari nang puso nang Reyna.

Queen Winter Aphrodite Dutchè Hemilton is high up the arena where the other part of the Spartan Games will be held. She has her eyes glued on the large flat screen tv and she can see the players or rather the condidates on being her husband are warming up and getting ready for the signal. Her eyes are particularly glued sa isang mala adonis na lalaki. Isang lalaking hindi niya lubos maisip na pupunta ang lalaki sa Spartan Games na kanyang inannounce kamakailan. Hindi niya talaga inaasahan na makita ang lalaki kahapon. Nagslow mo lahat nang nakita niya ang lalaki na kausap ang kakambal nito na si Apollo not to mention may senti pang kanta ang background music.

She was happy sad and worried at the same time. Masaya siya kasi mukhang tinupad nang Panginoon ang kahilingan niyang pumunta ang kanyang mahal sa Spartan Games kahit hindi niya alam ang rason kung bakit nasa Greece ang lalaking mahal na mahal niya. Malungkot din siya dahil mukhang wala atang balak na mag Hi or makipag kamustahan sakanya ang lalaki. Kahit alam niyang nakita naman siya nito Kahapon dahil sa mismong harapan nang kambal sila dumaan kahapon. Nagaalala siya dahil kahit Mafia Boss na ang lalaking minamahal niya ay siguradong may possibilidad na masugatan ito at masaktan. She cannot afford to she him wounded or hurt. Sa totoo lang kaya niya namang pigilin ang Spartan Games para sa nagiisang Ares Hemsworth pero pinigilan niya ang sarili niya at pinigilan siya nang mga magulang niya

They are curious as f**k. Gusto nilang malaman kung ano nga ba ang dahilan kung bakit pumunta sa Greece ang nagiisang Mafia Boss nang Olympus Mafia at sumali sa isang Spartan Game kung saan ang premyo ay walang iba kundi ang mapangasawa ang nagiisang Reyna nang Greece and being her husband has alot of benefits na siguradong yun din ang isa sa mga habol nang mga participants.

"Stay safe baby damn it" - bulong ni Aphrodite sa sarili habang nakatingin padin sa flat screen nang mapansin nito ang pag pwesto nang mga lalaki at may mga hawak na itong kanya-kanyang mga armas at kadalasan mga bat at daggers lang ang hawak nang mga ito pero napangiti si Aphrodite nang mapansin niya ang armas na gamit ni Ares

Nagsimula na ang unang parte nang laro. It is a Death Race to be exact kaya may dalang iba't ibang armas ang mga kalalakihan. The objective is attack every man you met during the run and just a simple scratch will do and if you are already wounded you are out of the candidates and you can already go home.

Agad na tumakbo nang mabilis si Ares at sa pagtakbo niya ay kasabay nang pag wasiwas niya nang katana na pagmamay-ari ni Aphrodite dahilan para masugatan ang sino mang madaanan niya. It was easy for him to pass the other candidates dahil malaking tulong ang pagiging Mafia boss niya but then he stop from his tracks when he saw about 5 men who are waiting meters ahead from him. At dahil mabilis tumakbo si Ares ay malayo nadin siya sa iba pang candidates.

"Wow this is the first one to arrive" - saad nang unang lalaki at tumawa pa ito. Akmang magsasalita pa sana ang isang lalaki nang mabilis na kumilos si Ares at pinabagsak ang lima with just a single punch on their faces.

"Weak. How can you protect a precious Queen with that kind of skill? Tsk useless" - malamig na saad ni Ares at muli siyang tumakbo but this time he took a shortcut. Alam ni Ares na mayroong twist ang Death Race. He knows na mayroong nakadeploy na iba't ibang klase nang tao na pipigil sa mga candidates at kung sino ang makatawid they will still face other twisted plots. And because of that Ares made sure that he studied the place well.

Kumanan siya sa isang eskinita at nakita niya ang isang ladder na naka connect sa building. Nilagay ni Ares ang dalawang katana sa kanyang limod dali dali siyang umakyat doon. He cannot afford someone to copy what he is doing at siguardo siya na wala talagang makakagaya sakanya. Siguradong pinipiglan na ito nang mga taong naka deploy sa paligid. It is like survival of the fitest. Kung hindi ka marunong at wala kang diskarte siguradong talo ka na sa laban.

Ares jumped from one building to another just like spiderman or rather a ninja. Wala siyang gaanong iniintindi dahil alam niyang walang mga taong nakadeploy sa taas nang mga building at dahil nadin hindi nila inaasahan ang gagawing kalokohan nang isang Ares Hemsworth

"Smart boy like his Father" - saad ni Gaia na tuwang tuwa habang nakatingin sa Flar Screen at pinagmamasdan niya bawat galaw ni Ares Hemsworth, ang kanyang inaanak. Alam niya ang dahilan kung bakit nasa Greece si Ares at kung bakit ito sumali nang laro. It was obvious na mahal nang inaanak niya si Aphrodite. But she knows she cannot spill the beans gusto niyang makita ang dramang magaganap mamaya. And she knows it will be much more fun than what his loving husband Uranus did to her decades ago.

"Go Ares damn it" - sa isip ni Aphrodite at halata sa kanyang reaksyon na tuwang tuwa siya sa kanyang napapanood. Pero nawala ang ngiti niya nang maalala kung ano pa ang mga susunod na laro na kakaharapin ni Ares. It will be deadlier and worser. And she is worried

Napagtagumpayan ni Ares ang Death Race nang walang kahirap hirap. Nang makarating siya sa Arena ay agad siyang umupo sa damuhan at nakatingin lamang siya sa lugar kung asan si Aphrodite at ang pamilya nito. Aphrodite can actually feel his stares piercing right through her soul and because of that her heart can't help but to skip a damn beat

Nanatili lang nakaupo doon si Ares habang nakatingin sa parehong lugar nang 30 minutes at tska dumating ang mga natitirang survivors na walang sugat. But Aphrodite's men still checked if these are true. Na wala talagang tinatagong ano mang sugat sa katawan ang mga naka lagpas sa unang round nang competition (If that's what men can call) from almost a hundred candidates naging sampu nalang sila. Just 10% of the candidates survived at siguradong mahihirapan sila sa susunod na laro. This game can be also called as Hades' call. This is a deadly game for Greece. Alam nang lahat nang mga mamayanan ang nangyayari sa laro na ito and that 10% could go lower maybe 4% and losing here means death and if your are lucky you could just be in the hospital bed for a month but this is not the main event yet.

Tumagal ang Death Race nang halos dalawang Oras pero para sa lagay ni Ares Hemsworth ay natapos niya ang race within an hour na unang nangyari sa kasaysayan nang Greece. Gaya nga nang sabi ni Aphrodite hindi naman talaga ginagamit ang Death Race sa Spartan Games pero dahil sa suggestion ni Cronus Hemsworth ay nailagay ito ni Aphrodite sa pinaka unang event. Pangalawang Event ay ang Hades' Call Na tatagal nang hindi hihihit sa dalawang oras Pangatlo ay ang Survival na tatagal nang wala pang 30 minutes at ang Pang apat ay ang Match na pwedeng tumagal depending on the Challenger's condition at ang makakalaban nang Challenger ay ang dating King o ang magiging King nang Greece. It is like a man to man fight.

"Let's proceed to the next event! The Hades' Call!" - Aphrodite announced at kahit nagdadalawang isip siyang ituloy ang laro ay wala siyang nagawa kundi sundin kung anong sinasabi nang isip niya. Yun ay ipagpatuloy ang sinimulan at alamin ang dahilan ni Ares kung bakit siya sumali sa Spartan Games.

"You just have to defeat each other. I you want to kill your enemies then go I won't stop you. Do your best and make sure to play good and no dirty tricks. Will will pick three candidates from here and will fight in the next game- malamig na saad ni Aphrodite gamit ang isang intercom system na naka connect sa mga speakers nang Arena at narinig ito nang sampung candidates na natitira, loud and clear.

Biglang may tumunog na bell na hudyat na mag simula na ang laban. Sinugod nang isang candidate from Antartica si Ares at akmang sasaksakin niya ito but knowing Ares is a Mafia Boss ay agad na nahawakan ni Ares ang  kamay nang candidate from Anatartica at walang ano ano'y pinilipit niya ang kamay nito dahilan para mabitawan niya ang dagger at humiyaw ito sa sakit. Imbis na bitawan ni Ares ang kamay nito ay inihagis niya ito sa dalawang lalaki na susugod din sana sakanya so the result is bagsak na ang tatlong lalaki and he has five more to fight.

One man is running towards Ares at may dala dala itong dalawang bat at akamang ihahampas niya ito kay Ares nang biglang hinugot ni Ares ang katana niya and he sliced the bat into halves at napaupo nalang ang lalaki  dahil sa takot.

"Coward" - mahina ngunit puno nang diin na pahayag ni Ares at agad niya itong sinuntok sa mukha at nawalan na ito nang malay. Pagkatapos au ibinalik niya ang katana ni Aphrodite sa kanyang likuran dahil wala siyang plano na patayin ang mga lalaking gustong maikasal kay Aphrodite. Ares doesn't want to have a river of blood in this aren kahit alam niya na na napakaraming tao na ang namatay sa Arena na ito.

Ares ran towards the other candidate from Austria and in just a blink of an eye ay tumumba na ito sa sahig at mahimbing na natutulog. Akmang hahampasin siya noong isa nang tubo pero agad niyang naramdaman ang presnsya nito sa kanyang likod kaya agad niyang sinipa ito sa tiyan dahilan para tuluyan itong mapaatras at mabitawan ang tubo. Ares punched the man hard in the face and boom! Just like the others tulog na ito. Wala pang 30 minutes ang nakalipas at tulog na ang pitong lalaki dahil sa suntok ni Ares na wala man lang naitulog o nagawa ang dalawang makakalaban niya mamaya sa Survival

Ares was about to attack the other one nang maalala niyang tatlo pala silang maglaban sa next round ang Survival. Which is a game of endurance, skill and brain.

There are about 3 courses in the Survival part.

1st is Assembling and gun shooting

2nd is Achery

And lastly 3rd is to defeat another candidate

Ares already knows about the Survival and the upcoming Match. Ang tanging hindi niya lang alam tungkol

Sa Spartan Games ay ang death Race. Pero nagpasiguro padin siya at inaral ang buong lugar.

"Damn hindi man lang niya pinakilos ang iba" - Cronus said while he is watching his son's game. Sa katunayan ay kasama nang mag asawang Hemsworth ang ama at ina ni Aphrodite at White. They are the best of friends after all.

Aphrodite on the other hand didn't hear what they are talking about because she is too focused on Ares every move.

"Pfft he will definitely win the first three parts of the Survival pero kaya niya kayang manalo saamin?" - pangaasar ng dating hari na si Uranus at tumawa nalang ang mag asawang Hemsworth dahil biglang pumasok sa isip nila ang nangyari kay Uranus noong sumali siya sa parehong laro. That time was really a death match pero alam nilang iba ngayon dahil si Ares mismo ang naglalaro at hindi ito papatay kapag hindi kailangan. Yun ang usapan nila.

"Maybe yes maybe no. We are not actually sure kung ano bang kayang gawin nang anak ko. We never seen him fight before" - Adellain said which is definitely the whole truth. Oo nagkakaroon sila nang daily sparring at training pero minsan lang pumunta si Ares sa mga ito. Ares rather sleep than train but it all changed when Aphrodite came into the picture dahil hindi man sabihin ni Ares noon nabo-bother ito sa presensya ni Aphrodite lalong lalo na at halos kapatany lang ito nang kanyang lakas at skills sa pakikipaglaban

Adellaine knows it because Ares is her son she can definitely read his mind through his deep ocean blue eyes.

"Next Game! Survival one! There are three guns there. You need to assemble it back together and after you did that do what you want to do. Again you can kill someone here. This is Spartan Games and you must be aware that being here means losing your life" - Aphrodite said in a deadly voice at nilabas na nang kanyang mga tauhan sa Arena ang tatlong hindi naka assemble na baril at pinuwesto ito sa tatlong magkakaibang lugar.

Lihim na napangiti si Ares dahil sa laro na ito. It doesn't seem quite deadly for him but it is wicked to the fact that you are going to kill someone just to marry a Queen. At lingid sa kaalaman nilang lahat ay kayang pumatay ni Ares para siya ang manalo. Kinontrol lang niya ang sarili niya dahil hindi pa yun ang tamang oras para pumatay.

Isang matinis na tunog nang bell ang narinig sa buong lugar hudyat na magsisimula na ang mga kalahok. Lahat nang manonood ay naghihiyawan sa mga kaganapan. At namamangha sila na makita ang bilis nang kamay nang isang lalaking kandidato nang bansang Pilipinas

"Done" - Ares suddenly said at itinaas ang baril na nabuo niya. It was just a plain AGR-170. Napanganga ang lahat nang wala pang dalawang minuto ay natapos na ni Ares ang pag assemble nang baril at sumunod naman ang dalawang candidato na galing sa Seoul Korea at America. They all raised the asembled AGR-170. At nang makita ito ni Aphrodite ay akamang magsasalita na siya dahil alam niyang walang balak ang isa sa kanila na magpatayan.

"Now you have to aim at a certain target make sure that you will shoot that target before you could proceed to Archery" - saad ni Aphrodite at agad naman itong ginawa nang tatlong lalaki. Aphrodite is not surprised na magaling ang tatlong lalaki. First isang mafia boss si Ares at ang dalawang natitira ay kilalang mga gangster sa kani-kanilang lugar.

They all pointed their guns on certain targets they are assigned but before Ares could pull the trigger he felt someone behind his back and we turn around he saw the man whom he first punched a while ago and he is holding a gun as well

"You will pay for what you did asshole!!!!" - the man screamed and he aimed the gun at Ares

Nagpanic ang lahat dahil sa nangyayari lalo lalo na si Aphrodite. She badly wants to stop the game and kick that asshole's balls for playing dirty. And not mention she would like to scold every single man in charge in securing the candidates who lost. Because in the first place the candidates of lost are kept in a jail like room wherein they will not be able to leave unless there i already a winner.

Aphrodite is about to stop the game when suddenly bumagsak ang lalaki na nakatakas mula sa mga tauhan niya and she can see in the flat screen a hole between his eyes and blood cam rushing out of it. Napanga nga naman ang lahat nang manonood dahil sa nasilayan nila. Well sino ba naman ang hindi mapapanga nga kung binaril lang naman sa ulo ni Ares ang lalaking nakatakas. It was clearly a headshot and a shot without hesitation.

"Damn annoying moron." - naiinis na saad ni Ares at muli siyang tumingin sa lugar kung nasaan sila Aphrodite and he unknowingly smiled.

"Pfft your son looks stupid smiling like that" - The past Queen Gaia said and that made Uranus and Adellaine smiled too

"He is just smitten" - sabay na sabi nang dalawang Hemsworth at nagtawanan nalang sila na parang naiintindihan na ang rason kung bakit ngumingiti ang isang Ares Hemsworth pero si Aphrodite ay nakatulala lang sa screen at hindi niya na alam kung nasa control pa ba ang puso at isip niya sa mga nangyayari. She was about to get a heart attack from what happened but she trust Ares. He is a mafia boss after all and she know he can handle such things

"Okay we quit! Damn we can't fight you!" - biglang sabi nang candidate from America dahilan para mapa-gasp ang mga taong nanonood

"Yeah We can't fight our boss for f***s's sake" - sabi naman nang candidate from South Korea and as if on cue all of the audiences and the royal family's jaws dropped with the sudden revelation.

But then Ares said something that made their jaws dropped even more

"Let's just f*****g proceed to the match? I wanted to see the Queen as early as possible"

Lahat nang audience sa buong paligid ay hindi makapaniwala sa kanilang nasasaksihan. The two other candidates just backed down from the Spartan Games. They are so shocked that they almost forgot to breath in air. They are like this because this is the first time someone backed down from the Spartan Games. No one dared to do so because the Royal Family has the authority if you will live or not. Backing down from the Historical Spartan games means you are disrespecting the whole Royal Family and it's ancestors and it is punishable by death.

"This is unpredictable!" - the past King Uranus exclaimed. No anger or disappointed was heard in his voice. It was full of happiness and amusement. And his wife and the Hemsworth couple cannot agree less. Aphrodite on the other hand is too shock to utter a word. She never thought that Ares can be this intimidating. She also didn't expect that there were some candidates who are part of Olympus Mafia.

She believes that the Olympus Mafia is pnly based in the Philippines. But is also possible for auch expansion to happen. But she is also curious how it happened and why does she know nothing about this. Her parents are staying in the Philippines and they have this position in the Olympus Mafia but they didn't even said anything to her.

Her deep thought was suddenly interupted by loud screams and yells from the Arena and when she looked back and focus her attention on the flat Screen her eyes widened in shock when she saw her brother White inside the Arena already.

"What the f**k?!" - Aphrodite exclaimed and she was about to run down to the Arena when two hands stopped her by grabbing both of her arms.

"What the hell?! Dad?! Ninong Cronus?! Let me go!" - she exclaimed when she realize that the persons who grabbed her arm to stop her was her own father and Ares' father.

She needs to go down to the Arena and stop the Match that is going to happen. She needs to be there because she doesn't want Ares and her brother to get hurt because she is definitely sure that this fight will be bloody. White is known for being merciless and so as Ares. They are match when it comes to skills and that's the thing that Aphrodite's afraid of.

"You can't go my daughter" - her mother suddenly said which made her frown

What the hell are they talking about?!- Aphrodite said in her mind because she really can't get what's happening.

"Your mother is right. This is a fight between two men with pride." - Adellaine Hemsworth said and that made Aphrodite click her tongue because of irritation.

"They are going to kill each other damn it! I need to stop them!" - Aphrodite exclaimed and she suddenly forced to be free from her dad and Ares' dad's grip. She is definitely fuming mad right now and the married couples are witnessing it right now and they can't help but to have goosebumps all over their system

Aphrodite is starting to go to berserk any moment. She cannot take the sight of her little brother and the man ahe loves kill each other in just a minute now. It is just an exaggeration but who might know what will happen later. She wouldn't actually mind if it's just some dickheads but the mere fact that two men who are obviously precious to her is going to hurt each other and she cannot take it and she knows she must do something to stop it.

"Just watch them Winter. They are not going to kill each other. Yes they are both strong and skillful but please just watch. We will allow you to go down when we see that they are already killing each other" - Cronus said and Aphrodite closed her eyes as her jaws tigthened because of frustration.

"Winter just listen to us okay? Calm down my daughter. They are not going to kill each other" - Uranus added and that made Aphrodite open her eyes.

"Fine damn it" - naiinis na saad ni Aphrodite at babalang siyang umupo sa couch na inuupan niya kanina and she focused her eyes on the screen. Her eyes was totally glued on the screen.

"That was close" - bulong nang mag best friend na si Uranus at Cronus at bumalik nadin sila sa kanilang upuan kasama ang kanilang mga asawa and they also just foucsed their attention on the Screen. Where Ares and White are just standing 20 feet away from each other.

The crowd is yelling and screaming the name of the crowned Prince White Alexander and there are also some screaming for the Mafia Boss Ares. A prince and a mafia boss? Who is actually the most powerful of them all?

"Thanks for f*****g inviting me here Brother in law" - Ares suddenly said and that made White laugh loud. He didn't expect that someone like Ares Hemsworth would thank him. It's just like the man named Ares Hemsworth doesn't know the word thank you and yet he just said it a while ago makes him laugh because of happiness and because he is quite surprised that the same man called hin brother in law

"Are you still sane Ares Hemsworth? Saying thanks is a big word. Will you not regret it?" - White replied with a grin plasterred on his face like he was actually pissing off the great Mafia boss of Olympus; Ares Hemsworth.

"Nah I won't regret it because I didn't regret loving your sister" -Ares replied like it was the most common topic for him. He was just calm like a sea breeze at night.

Before before they all knew it; In just a blink of an eye Prince White is now in front of Ares and he swing his sword and was about to hit the Mafia boss' face. But then again because of such reflexes Ares was able to block the attack by drawing the Katana, originally owned by Aphrodite.

"Woah you're good as f**k" - Prince White commented and as if on cue he attempted to kick Ares's side but as usual the Mafia boss was able to block it.

"Is that all you've got?" - Ares mockingly said and before White could make another move Ares removed his hands from his leg and then he shove the Prince's sword.

Prince White took a step backwards because of the impact he've gotten. But before he could even get his poise back he felt a sudden blow on his left side and all the audiences gasp when they saw the handsome Prince literally flew from one place to another because of the roundhouse kick Ares just made.

Pati nadin si Aphrodite ay napatayo bigla sa kanyang kinauupan dahil sa pagbigla. Napansin din niya ang paghawak ni White sa tagiliaran niya na tinamaan ni Ares at ang pagngiwi nito dahil sa sakit

She can't actually hear what they are talking about; she can only see their movements.

"That f*****g hurts but as if I will let you get away with it asshole" - nakangising saad ni White and without further ado he immediately run towards Ares and he swing his sword pero nakaiwas nanaman ito at muling sinangga ang bawat tira niya pero imbis na huminto ay agad niyang binigyan ito nang tadyak at isang suntok. Which made Ares take a step backwards and he can taste blood on his lips.

"Damn you are really taking the chance to hurt me tsk" - Ares said while removing the blood from his lips.

"Yeah so don't hold back Hemsworth because I won't" - Nakangising saad ni White and in just a split second he ran again to attack Ares

Lahat nang Audience pati na sila Aphrodite ay tutok na tutok ang mga mata sa dalawang lalaking naglalaban. Their clothes are already slightly torn and they are already some bruises visible on their bodies.

Wala na silang hawak na kung ano mang sandata ngayon. They are just using their hands and legs in fighting it other na para bang nasa MMA fight sila o kaya naman ay WWE

Ares wipe out the sweat from his forehead and also the blood flowing from his head. It was caused by White when he suddenly made a mistake avoiding the sword and it suddenly hit the side of his head making a clear cut because of that.

White on the other hand did the same thing. He wipe his sweat off at hinawakan niya ang braso niyang may hiwa na galing sa katana ni Ares. Too much blood is coming from his wound because of the several hits he also got from Ares' kicks and punches.

Damn this wound hurts alot - sa isip ni White habang matalim na nakatingin kay Ares. But he was surprised to see that he is not even minding his wound when in the first place siya ang may pinakamaraming sugat sa katawan compared to him

"Damn I really hate foreplays it sucks" - malamig na saad ni Ares and he run his fingers through his hair and that made White eyes grow wide.

This guy's  f*****g crazy!!! - sa isip ni White na hindi makapaniwala sa sinabi ni Ares. Not to mention some of the audience actually heard him say such thing because his voice was quite loud

"What? I didn't mean foreplay as something green Alexander tsk what do you think of me a maniac?!"- Ares exclaimed and that made white laugh so loud that everyone on the arena jaws dropped

"Okay okay damn let's just end this fight. We are both injured and damn my sister will kill me for this" - nakangiting sabi ni White and he gean his sword from the ground and that's what Ares did as well.

But before they could attack it other a loud scream interupted them from attacking each other

"STOP DAMN IT!" - dumagunding ang lakas nang sigaw ni Aphrodite sa buong lugar. Everyone watching the two men fight turned pale. Who wouldn't? When their Queen is actually fuming mad right now. Ngayon lang din nila nakita nang malapitan ang nagiisang Queen na nagdala nang pagbabago sa buong Greece. She may be called as the Greatest Queen of Greexe for all the things she have done.

Tumalon si Aphrodite pababa nang Arena Grounds at agad siyang naglakad papalapit kay Ares. Malalaking hakbang ang ginawa nang kanyang mga paa kaya wala pang isang minutonay nasa harapan na siya ni Ares at ang sumunod na nangyari ay gunalantang sa lahat nang nanonood

"YOU ARE AN ASSHOLE FOR MAKING ME FEEL LIKE THIS?!? ARE YOU ACTUALLY NUTS?! YOU ARE FIGHTING MY BROTHER AND LOOK AT YOU KNOW! YOU ARE DEFINITELY WASTED!
