CHAPTER 29After the unproductive meeting with the Mullinses, Kari returned to the office and collapsed into her desk chair. The callous attitude of CeCe Mullins had unnerved her. Mrs. Mullins was the exact opposite of her husband, and although they had both claimed that she had no involvement with New Visions, Kari wondered if that was true. Compared to her husband, she was the one with the con man swagger and impertinence. Although Duffy had taken on the task of scheduling and reviewing the foundation’s financial and investment records, Kari still had in her possession bank records that went back several years subpoenaed from Cuddy Mullins’s personal accounts.
