The rest of the night I was unable to fall asleep. Eventually, Nyx came up with the idea to shift into our wolf form, letting her keep watch while I rested. I did as she said, trusting she wouldn’t go find herself some company.
I was slowly waking up when I felt the first rays of the sun brushing through my fur.
“Did you rest enough?” Nyx asked me. I could hear the concern she had for me in her voice. “Yes, thank you. You for keeping watch,” I said before taking over. “Now you rest Nyx.”
