After a good night's rest at the elders, I felt reborn as if nothing had happened. Jackson and David told me they were almost finished with their search. Until now, they haven’t found any wolfsbane. One of the remaining houses was the house where Freya was staying. I feared the outcome. I feared that I would have to kill her for her betrayal.
The scent of freshly baked bacon drew me to the dining room. I was starving. I can't even remember the last time I ate properly. Without any hesitation, I ate everything I could get my hands on. Not even caring about the piercing gazes of the elders.
