(Mavis Pov)
Riley is simply delightful.
Her energy is infectious, and her cuteness is off the charts. She's friendly and chatty, never missing a beat.
"Do you like brownies?"
"I love brownies! Can you make me some?" she asks, her big green eyes sparkling with enthusiasm, mirroring her brother's.
I grin and tousle her chocolate brown curls. "I think I can manage a recipe, sweetheart." I glance at Latif, who’s observing us with a playful smirk. "If that’s alright with you?"
He gives a nod and heads to the kitchen to gather the ingredients. Once he’s ready, he turns to Riley, lifts her effortlessly, and places her on the counter. "Guess what, pumpkin? We’re making brownies!"
She lets out a joyful squeal and wraps her arms around him, making him laugh. They’re just too cute together.
