Gavin stated, "Indeed," as he began to approach them.
"I will return later when he is not present," Ella remarked, turning to head in the opposite direction. However, I grasped her wrist and pulled her along with me. Gavin continued on his way, satisfied with how I was managing Ella.
"Hello, Kelsey," I greeted. "Thank you once more for dinner last evening."
"Last evening?" I heard Ella murmur to me.
"Ah, hello, Essel," Kelsey responded, glancing up from the perfume bottle she was examining. Michael looked up from his phone, noticed me, and smirked. "No problem at all. You are welcome to visit anytime. Are these your companions?"
I nodded in affirmation. "This is Ella and Gavin. We all work together at Gingersnaps."
"How delightful," she smiled before returning her attent
