Good morning, Essel," a deep voice softly intones. As I gradually open my eyes, I am greeted by the bright sunlight filtering through the blinds. Mornings have never been my forte; the mere idea of rising before dawn is quite unsettling. The interruption of my sleep, particularly by Michael's voice, is particularly jarring.
