"Are you seeing someone, Latif?" Dad inquired as soon as I walked in. "Yes, where's Mom?" I replied, shutting the door behind me, surprised by my newfound boldness, but he needed to know. "She's on a call; he's a good guy," he said, turning around. A grin appeared on my face, "So you don't think dating him is a mistake?" I asked, settling down beside him. "Do you believe dating him is a mistake?" he countered.
