She glanced at me, a skeptical look in her eyes. "You know you're sitting on my lap, right? I might just push you off."
With a smirk, she replied, "No, you won't. If you do, I won't talk to you anymore."
I couldn't help but whine, "I just want one gummy." I knew it wasn't the coolest move, but my craving for a gummy was strong, and I usually get my way.
"Alright," she said, holding up a gummy worm. I quickly snatched it with my mouth.
"Thanks!" I mumbled, resting my chin back on her shoulder.
Jenna suddenly chimed in, "OMG, you two are so adorable together!" Amanda and I exchanged amused glances and chuckled.
"We're not a couple," we both insisted in unison, but Jenna looked far from convinced.
