BELLE My heart pounded in my chest as I stepped out of his car. I watched as he drove away without any care in the world, and tears blurred my vision. This is too much. I leaned against a streetlamp, pressing my hand to my chest like I could force my heart to stop cracking. A sob escaped down my throat as I broke down in tears. I didn't care anymore.
