“Frederic… Stella”, Pearl yelled two names without breaking her gaze with Divina. Pearl was standing with the support of Jacob behind me. I took two long steps behind and stood up beside her. We both intertwined our fingers and Jacob slowly released her from his embrace. The energy that was surging inside me right now was enhancing my powers. Pearl was channelling Divina’s spiritual energy towards us. “Take all the witches out”, Pearl commanded Jacob, and I looked at aunt Anastasia. She was not looking at me.
