I was hell angry with Ruth for dragging me into the slumber with him. It was a defensive mechanism of our body to keep us away from the pain that we felt when Kara drowned herself in a deep slumber leaving Pearl as a mere human now. I should have known that she was doing something really stupid on this mission. Now, I regretted sending her alone on this mission. We only saw the rogue alpha as our enemy but the dark witch Divina had startled everyone by taking us off guard. Now, I couldn’t call Kara because it would endanger Pearl’s life more than it was already.
I was really glad that I had Asher as my brother and my best friend. Everyone tried hard to make me wake up but it was he and Nick who risked their lives only to revive me. Also, through his memories and I saw what
