Dean

It has been a pretty smooth work week. I love this team I have. Nancy from HR did a real good job, keeping the ones that deserve to stay and finding excellent replacements. I am currently sitting at my Friday afternoon meeting very distracted. Which isn't like me. I don't get distracted easily, I am a very focused man. But Laiken Wells is the only thing I am thinking about today. It has been a week since I met her, since I brought her back to my apartment. The last time I kissed her was in my office on Monday. She wanted to be professional about it, and let me tell you I am trying my very best. Least, she lets me text her, and she doesn't get mad when I flirt with her, but I can't touch her and that pisses me off. I decided to pull my phone out and mess with her a little bit.

Me: This meeting isn't going too well right now, when all I can think about is this beautiful woman that I haven't stopped thinking about since last Friday... Do you think she is having the same problem?

Laiken: Dean stop! We are at work right now.

Me: I can't stop. All I am thinking about is how I haven't been able to touch you because you won't let me. It's driving me crazy. Have dinner with me tonight? I have behaved all week.

Laiken: I couldn't even if I wanted to. It's my friend's birthday tonight, so we are going to dinner and then going out.

Imagining her going out and another man putting his hands on her like last Friday doesn't sit right with me. Before I could even reply to her, I had to get back to focusing on this meeting. After the meeting, I was walking back to my office when I walked past the copy room and saw her. All I want to do is pin her against the wall and have my way with her. This is really hard, but I really need to respect her wishes.

Later that night,

I am at the sports bar with my brother. He moved out here when I did. He hated Utah, so when he heard I was transferring. He put a transfer in as well, and moved out here. We were talking about work and what not and having some beers, when I heard my phone go off.

Laiken; Do you know what sucks?

Me: Other than the fact you're not with me? What?

Laiken; The fact I have had a lot to drink, and they don't taste the same because I actually have to pay for them this time. You ruined drinking for me. ;)

Me; How much is your tab? I'll Venmo you money.

Laiken: Absolutely NOT!!

She's going to be mad because instead of listing to her, I sent her 500 dollars. Next thing I know, my phone starts to ring and, no surprised, it's her calling me. I told my brother I had to take this call, and I had stepped outside to answer it.

"Hello Beautiful, are you having fun?"

"DEAN! Why did you do that? I didn't want you to send me your money and, plus, that is way too much."

"Should cover your drinks, your Uber and whatever you ate for dinner."

"What if I didn't want to take an Uber?" she said as the tone of her voice changed.

"You better not walk. That is too dangerous for a beautiful woman like you."

"Not walking either. What if I wanted to call this guy to come pick me up and take me back to his apartment like he did last week?"

"Oh really? What nightclub are you at?" I asked excitedly.

"The same one where I met you! Maybe if you show up here and find me, I'll forgive you for sending me money I didn't want."

"I'll be there soon, baby." I said before hanging up the phone. I walked back in and paid for mine and my brother's brother's beers before telling him something had come up, and I had to leave. I headed over to the club to find Laiken, so I was in. I literally looked for her for a minute, and still could not find her. I went to the bar and ordered myself a drink, and I asked her if she looked up to see if Laiken's tab was still open. Sure enough it still was. I handed her my credit card and paid her tab. Before i turned around, i felt a tap on my shoulder, when I turned around, and then I saw her. She was in a red strapless dress with black heals on. She was almost my height at that point. She looked smoking hot. I just wanted to take her into a bathroom, and have my way with her right now.

"Well, hello there beautiful."

"Hi." she said before reaching behind my neck and pulling me down to kiss me. I wrap my arms around her and pull her closer. "Do you wanna take me home?"

"Take you home? Your home?"

"No, silly. Your home, you know unless you don't want to."

"Oh, baby. There is nothing I rather do. Let's go," I said, as I turned around and asked the bartender for her debit card. I then grabbed her hand and started heading out of the night club, I helped her into my car. As I got in the driver seat, I look over at Laiken, with her starring right back at me, I smiled at her. As I leaned over to give her a soft kiss on her beautiful lips, "Are you sure this is what you want, Laiken? I don't want you to wake up in the morning, and be mad at me and sneaking out again."

"Drive, I want to come.." she says as she winks at me.

Thats when I turn on the car and put the car in drive. On the drive over, she has the window down and has her arm flowing with the cali air, while her other one is intertwined with my hand. It doesn't take long to get to my apartment, once I park she gets out of my car, I hurry up and go around my car to help her. She grabs my hand as she smiles at me, when we start heading up to my aparment. Once the Elevator opens up to my apartment, we walk in and she starts leading me to my bedroom. Once we are in my bedroom, she throws her hands around my neck,and starts to kiss me hard. I, of course start kissing her back. She starts to take her shirt, and thats when I stop her. Why am I stopping her? This is what I been wanting since I last touched her.

"What's wrong? Dont you want me?" She asks me as her hands on on my chest.

"Baby, there nothing more I want more then you, but youre drunk, and well i am not, I dont want you to regret this is the morning, I dont want you mad at me because I didnt listen to you. You might be upset right now, and I maybe even upset with myself, believe me. But I repect you."

"Ok, fine. Ill just leave then..." she says as she starts to walk past me, but yet again I stop her. "What are you doing, I'm going home."

"Youre not going anywhere, youre too drunk. I won't let you get into a Uber by yourself. Just stay here and I'll take you home in the morning, please."

She stairs at me for a minute, before she answers me, "fine, but where do you want me to sleep? Do you have a guest room?"

"I do but I would rather your sleep in here with me, I'll even give you some clothes of mine to wear, so your comforable."

She nods, I walk across my room to my closet, and grab her a pair of sweats and one of my graphic tees, and toss them to her. I told her she can change right there and I would change in here. After I'm finished i walked into the room, and i see her laying in my bed. I walk over, and get into bed with her. She moves over so were cuddling. Before I close my eyes, I whisper in her ear, "Please, be right here when I wake up in the morning, goodnight beautiful."
