The elevator ride to her room was filled with thrilling silence. Keith didn’t say anything, but she could tell that he was angry. Drew’s words must’ve gotten into him. She wondered what he’d told Keith earlier to make him this mad.
“Keith, it’s not like what he said... I’ve never—“ he lifted his hand, stopping her.
“I know—“ Keith cuts before he turned around to face her. “I know you’re not that kind of woman. He only said that to pissed me off.” He said, putting both hands on her shoulders.
It was such a relief that he trusted her that much, but why is he still look angry? She wanted to ask, but she didn’t get the chance.
