The sun comes up. Cassandra blinked a few times before she fully opened her eyes, only to find the other side of her bed empty. Where did he go?
Keith left a small note on the bedside table, completed with a tray full of breakfast for her.
Didn’t want to wake you up. I’ll see you at the office.

A smile made its way to her lips. She then exhaled deeply and took a piece of toast from the plate. This could be a long day.
She wanted to visit Liam and checked on him, but then she worried that Lucy might be there to forbide her from seeing him.
Hell no. This isn’t how it is supposed to work. Liam is her friend, and he was technically injured because of her yesterday. She won’t let Lucy decide anything for them.
She took another bite and put the rest of the breakf
