Chapter 2:Mariano Vicente

(Daniella Martinez POV)

As we sat at the diner,dad’s phone rang,with the tone of his voice I knew who was calling,it was Mariano Vicente,the guy who always tried his best to woo me.Mariano Vicente is our family friend,handsome,hot and I won’t lie he was almost every girls dreams like a walking wish list.Mariano Vicente is muscular,handsome and a great assassin under The Mafiaso’s,the Mafiaso’s are a Mafia headquarters of their own,my family has once been in a feud with them but we became friends,and now the real enemies are the S4,they are a Mafia group comprising of four main leaders Snake,Smoke,Scorpion and Spider,they are also other members,I’ve not seen then before,but I’ve heard a lot about them,according to my dad if there was anyone,anyone at all who would be in a competition with us it would be them,due to the long years of family feud and war we’ve had with them,the cause of the feud happen way before I was born,but no one ever told me what exactly happened,when I asked my dad,he says it best to leave the past in the past.

‘We’ll have to attend a masquerade ball at the Mariano’s’,my dad said with a clear voice.

I really did not want to attend,but it an event my whole family is invited to,so I had to go,but not just because of the invitation but also not to appear or seem rude.

Mariano Vincente POV

As I stood near the bar set up I saw her walk in,she was wearing a pretty much exposed dress,back slit,there was a split cut on her gown,her laps were showing and her thighs were almost showing,she looked gorgeous and hot,the kind of lady I’ve always waited for,for years.

I could see,feel and sense the way she looks at Herman Dario,i could sense she wanted him,she liked him.Then she turned her direction to me,approaching me with the most pride I had already gotten really used to,as she approached me she held a firm and strict face,like is we’re a problem that needed fixing,like I were a monster who could rip out her heart if not treated badly.

‘Hey Mariano,thanks for inviting us over’,she said with a firm,strict glare.

‘Of course,anything for my lady’I replied in a flirty tone

‘I’m not your lady’she yelled

I watched as she eyed me up and down and then she left.

I did not care what she felt about me but I knew I was going to make sure she is mine either in this life or the next.

How I dislike Mariano Vicento,I just can’t believe he hasn’t given up on trying to woo me,he’s still not gotten over this fantasy of his.

As I looked around I saw Harman Dario staring at me,then I decided to shoot my shot.I approached him and before I could speak he said ‘Hey,so seems like you’re enjoying the costume party’

‘Hi,yes I’m enjoying the ball’i said with a faint blush.

‘Let’s take shots’i agreed with a nod of my head.

We drank and took shots until he said ‘I saw you speaking to Mariano Vicento earlier’

I laughed until he said ‘You like him uh?’
