~Author talking to Readers Portion~
This work is inspired by the movies Inception directed by Christopher Nolan, Shutter Island directed by Martin Scorsese, Groundhog Day directed by Harold Ramis, and Happy Death Day directed by Christopher Landon. This is also inspired by the games Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 both developed by Valve.
What makes this special is its unique way of presenting a story written like a movie script with a plot that lets readers think and make their own theories about how the story would go and how the story would eventually end. The weird and uneasy atmosphere presented in the movie-like novel makes the reader feel anxious playing with concept of imagination specially when read at night with lights closed makes one wonder what if it happened to them?
The psychological twist is that the world is either real or not real and you can never believe anything that you can perceive just like how the brain acts when encountering optical illusions. It makes one think twice like seeing something in the periphery like somebody is there when in actuality we do not really know for sure unless we look, this is this book.
Take for example the concept of Shrodinger's Cat which can be considered a paradox. The cat inside of a black box can be both interpreted as being dead or alive at the same time. For me, dubbing it the Shinku's Periphery, you can interpret that there maybe something strange on your periphery but you can also interpret that there is nothing there at all and you are just imagining things... ... ...unless you look or if you're afraid to look, then don't... ... ... because something might actually be there.
If you have watched those movies. I want to know how you'd react if you were the one to experience those kinds of events? I know I'll enjoy mine for a while... [thinks about the horrifying deaths]
You know what? I don't want to experience it...
Or have I?
